about ensuring individual that they has an equal opportunity as they are likely having similar
access over opportunities, power and position, thus, it is also defined to not treated differently or
discriminated in against of their separate characteristics (Drolet and Mumford, 2012). On the
other side, diversity is all about enchanting all the differences among people and groups of
individuals, and placing a positive value on those differences which are encompasses over
culture, region, religion, sex, colour, race, age and so on. In regards to business, these two aspect
has imperative value as these are important for the management to be accessed for the intention
of providing equal and diverse environment where individual are work with their potential
without having any issue of getting discriminated. Equality and diversity at workplace are needs
to be managed for the potential intention of enhancing the overall business performance.
The issue of ageism and racial inequality faces by General Electronic.
Ageism and racial inequality are defined to be the most important aspect of discrimination
which are directly influencing the performance of individual and also impacted over the entire
