Section Two: Reasons for choosing this research project

One of the major reasons for doing this research is to look at the role of leaders as well as line managers in
employee development & well-being. Other than this, workforce development has become an important
component of the firm because it assists to retain & satisfy employees. This research also helps researchers
in a personal as well as professional relation. In a professional respect, researchers would understand the
issues managers & leaders face in the staff development process and the roles they perform. Personally, it
helps improve skills in time management, communication, problem solving, data collection &
interpretation. With this help, researchers would be able to perform future research in a systematic &
efficient way.

Importance of innovative ways to talent management.
As per the view point of Mona Momtazian, (2019), Talent management is one of the important aspect
for an organization as it help in retaining and attracting competent workforce for longer time period.
In the present time, organization make use of innovative ways in order to manage talent. It help
company to increase performance, productivity, profitability and many more. It is determined that
talent management allow business entity to develop its brand image and ensure effective services to
customers due to which they gain higher growth and success at marketplace (Why talent management
is important, 2019). Talent management not only associated with human resource but it is basically
manage, retain, develop the most productive as well as talented staff members within the company. It
plays vital role within the business strategy as it managed one of the most imperative asset of an
organization which is employees. There are various benefits gained by an organazation due to talent
management such as attracting skilled staff members, boost performance, improve retention rate,
develop employees and many more. All this will assist in gaining higher growth and success at
marketplace in an effective manner.

According to Zip, (2018), It is determined that there are various new and innovative ways used by
organization for managing talent. One of the new way is providing career and development
opportunities to staff members as in the present time employees not only look for professional

STRATEGIES,2018). Another strategy is to provide healthy working environment which is one of the
vital aspect of talent management. Apart from this, there are also new innovative strategies such as
allow participation of employees in decision making, develop new hiring strategies, prioritize
employee issues, offering impressive salaries and many more.

As per the view point of Andre, (2020) It is analyzed that there are various challenges faced by
respective organization while implementing new and innovative ways of talent management. One of
the major challenges embracing new interest which is the part of changing nature, behavior and needs
of younger talents. Another issue is offering impressive salaries as most of the employees are not
satisfied about the pay they get in terms of their working and performance (Challenges of talent
management, 2020). It is determined that there is increase in cost of organization while implementing
talent management strategies an impact negatively on the revenue level. Apart from this, there are
also other challenges such as giving engaging work, being open minded, decline employee turnover
ratio and so on.
