 To understand and acquire knowledge about corporate structure of an organisation.

Section Two: Reasons for choosing this research project
Reasons for choosing the project (e.g links to other subjects you are studying, personal
interest, future plans, knowledge/skills you want to improve, why the topic is important):
Impact of globalisation on corporate structure of organisation is important for researcher
because if they want to perform business operations at international level in future, then it is
easy to know about issues and problems which might arise and ways to deal with it. This study
is crucial for organisations as well because management came to know about issues which
arise in corporate structure and making operations in appropriate manner. In retail industry, it
is easy for analyse which of the organisations suffering and remedial actions taken by
management. Country get benefits because organisations came to operate and there is
increment in monetary benefits to country. This research is interesting for researcher because
this provides information about change in working style due to internationalisation of
business. This assist reader in career growth as well because they can use this investigation as
academic paper and communicate to organisations. In future, there is scope of conducting
research on analysing ways to motivate workers to perform operations under dynamic
environment.
This topic is selected because this is related to researcher's career and study point of view. At
the same time researcher have personal interest for this topic because if there is planning to
operate at international level, then knowledge can be acquired from this study. Researcher is
planning to operate at international level, then there are possibilities of issues, so in this study
there is proper knowledge about to deal with them (Giannakopoulou, Thalassinos and
Stamatopoulos, 2016). With conducting this investigation, there is improvement in leadership,
decision making and information collection skills which assist in career growth and if similar
opportunities will get to conduct investigation, then it can be done in effective manner. Impact
of globalisation on corporate structure is important because this is concurrent subject which is
relevant in current market. Hence this investigation will become base for many other studies
(Liang, Ren and Sun, 2015).

Knowledge about corporate structure of an organisation
As per view of Andrea Rea, 2019 Corporate structure refers to the process through which
organisation perform activities as per their aims and objectives. There are many departments
such as marketing, sales, production, finance, etc. which are working in international
organisation through which they can provide best and appropriate services to consumers. With
the help of these departments, operations are performed in synchronise and appropriate

manner. When corporate structure of organisation is well and good, then there is no
communication gap and working efficiency is up to the mark (Noe and et. al., 2017).
Impact of globalisation on corporate structure of enterprise
There are possibilities of positive as well as negative impact on corporate structure of
organisation while they are working at international level. There is requirement of more
specific and relevant information about area where operations are operated (Passas, 2017). If
proper planning is done, then there will positive impact on working style of company when
they are working at international level because of change in working style which is pre-
determined and organised by management of association. As per view of Erik Devaney, 2019
In order to access policies which are taking place in external market there is requirement of
market research. When all the departments are aware about their roles and responsibilities, the
they perform activities in synchronise manner. Corporate structure of enterprise is also well
defined, so business activities at international level are performed in appropriate and smooth
manner. There is positive environment in organisation because their employees have proper
communication channel through which they can perform activities in synchronise manner and
achieve targets within specified time.
Influence of global expansion on corporate structure of Enterprise
There are many factors which has to be considered if managers of association wants to operate
in international market such as political parties, legal laws and regulations, etc. This are factors
which has to be considered. According to Judit Kozenkow, 2019 at international level, there is
more change in external market, hence this is the major issue which arise. When there is
change in corporate structure, then it is tough to manage and make workers motivate to
perform it. If there is change in working style, then there is some confusion among workers
and they are not able to perform operations with such confidence. Due to change in corporate
structure, there are some changes in working style of workers due to which main focus of
quality is not cure by employees of organisation (Schneider and Scherer, 2015).
Ways through which positive impact on organisation can be achieved with proper maintenance
of corporate structure
There is investment of time as well as cost in managing business operations at international

level, so in this case management of association has to be up to the mark. in order to perform
activities in better and appropriate manner, there are some recommendations such as proper
planning, communication techniques, training of work force, etc. According to Dana
Manciagli, 2019 When there is proper communication with workers, then it is easy for them to
understand what activity have to be performed after what. This assist in getting positive
outcome because activities are performed in specified manner. Organisational structure have to
understood and clear to workers through which it is easy to get smoothness in working
operations of enterprise (Zhang, Fung and Changhong, 2017).
Research Gap:
There is requirement of different departments for performing business operations in
appropriate manner and providing proper services to consumers. Hence in order to deal with it,
different ways such as motivation of workers, proper communication techniques, etc. are
studied. This assist duplication of activities and wastage of resources in organisation with the
help of which organisational cost gets reduced and operational efficiency can be achieved.
In order to deal with this issue, researcher will use inductive approach with qualitative
methods because this makes easy representation of products and services. Primary and
secondary methods are collected which assist in getting in- depth information. Random
sampling is used for collecting primary information because this gives authentic information
because under this there are null possibilities of biassness.

What type of research approach and methodologies are you likely to use and why? What
your areas of research will cover:
Research methodology are the technical procedure which are used to conduct investigation in
appropriate manner (Dignam and Galanis, 2016). There are different types of techniques used.
Some of them with its justification is as under-
best approach for this study is inductive approach through which all the specific and relevant
information can be known. Positivism philosophy is appropriate for this investigation because
this gives all the briefing about ways through which investigation is done (Bretos and
Marcuello, 2017).
Best way to conduct study is qualitative method because this provides justification behind
every aspect. When justification behind specific idea is provided, then it is easy to understand
it. With use of qualitative method, it is easy for researcher to interpret it because there is no
use of technical aspects. With graphs and chats, presentation of information is effective
manner in front of audience and reader.
Both primary and secondary sources are used for collecting data for this study. Questionnaire
is best and appropriate way through which personal interaction with respondents is possible
through which appropriate and exact information can be gathered (Bende-Nabende, 2017).

Simple random probable sampling is best and specific for the purpose of sampling because
bias free information is collected. When complete and specific information is collected from
respondents, then this covers all the ethical considerations as well. 10 managers of TESCO
PLC are selected for gathering primary information (Aalbers, 2016).
