This research project focuses on the long-standing issue of discrimination against black and minority ethnic (BME) staff in the UK, specifically in access to employment, opportunities, and treatment in employment. It explores the policies and legislation of the NHS England for BME and aims to understand the concept of discrimination and BME. The research design includes qualitative analysis and an exhaustive literature review. Data collection involves an audit and analysis of the impact of NHS on counter race discrimination. The findings and analysis will provide insights into the disadvantages faced by BME staff in recruitment. The conclusion discusses the challenges of achieving complete equality in society and the implementation of policies to address discrimination. Recommendations are made to address social inequality and its impact on living standards.
