This research project focuses on the need for businesses to manage cultural diversity at the workplace for improving overall organizational productivity and performance. The case study is based on GlaxoSmithKline, a British multinational pharmaceutical firm. The study aims to understand the conceptual framework of equality and diversity in business, critically assess the need for managing cultural diversity, determine the interrelationship between cultural diversity and business performance, and articulate measures for managing diversity at GlaxoSmithKline. The literature review provides insights into the importance of equality and diversity in business and the impact of cultural diversity on business performance. The research methodology includes a quantitative approach with primary data collection through surveys and secondary data collection through literature review.
