CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION
In today's techno-driven world the requirement of new and latest technology among the
society also get increased as it assist in performing operations frequently with less possibilities of
effort. With technological changes in environment, there is alteration in working style of
individuals as it now involved technology within the day to day operations performed by the
people (Alsinglawi and et. al., 2017). These technologies involve computer, smart phones,
remote controlled devices, internet, IOT and many more that all contributed toward enhancing
the living standard of people by providing them a smart home environment which is embedded
with several technologies. IOT is high in trend now, it basically refers to the physical entity or
devices connected with internet and able to connect this device with others in order to get
operated. The main focus of launching these techniques is to simplify the day to day practices of
individual. In addition to this there are numerous of devices that are created for improving the
living standard by creating a smart home environment. This support in providing the secure,
comfortable and convenient work which is more energy efficient optical.
Overview of topic
These days there is use of different internet technologies with the help of which
individuals can get benefits of proper conducting of activities. There is requirement of complete
and specific information of ways through which it can be performed. There is use of complete
and specific knowledge which makes it easy for individuals to perform activities (Bakar and et.
al., 2016). These days there is requirement of different techniques which makes it easy for
making proper understanding. In current days. There are different devices such as smart TV,
mobile, watch, etc. which are used in home to make environment relevant in context of external
market. There is requirement of complete knowledge but new techniques which are used at
home, so possibilities of error is negligible. At home there are many activities wit the help of
which operations of home can be performed in effective and relevant manner. So in this
investigation knowledge about activities which affected because of using smart devices and ways
through which errors can be detected.

This investigation is on IOT and its impact on home environment. As these days, there is
use of different technological development with the help of which people can maintain
environment of home smart. There is use of techniques through which they can be operate via
hand movement (Bakar and et. al., 2016). This makes life more lavish and comfortable. Apart
from this it also assist individuals to maintain same reputation in society. Hence in this
investigation, there is discussion about daily life activities to maintain smart home environment.
Internet of things are group of Internet techniques which assist in completing daily work and
execute activities in relevant and effective manner. With use of internet of things, it is easy for
individuals to perform their daily activities with effectiveness an efficiency.
Rationale of research
This research is focus on identifying the operations of daily life which gets affected
through Internet of Things and make home environment techno- friendly. Today's time every
individual wants to live in smart environment to make their living standard more comfortable
and luxuries. In this internet of things play a crucial role in daily activities of lives as it is
mechanism by which any kind of object can be controlled, monitored and manipulated as well.
Mainly, it is consider as a technological advancement that support day to day life activities of an
individual (Bugeja, Jacobsson and Davidsson, 2016). The main focus of this term is to allow
communication among not only human but also between any kind of objects that help individuals
to improve their working activities within the home environment. In this regards, smart homes
provide automation of domestic tasks, high security and many more. All these are easier by
internet of things. One of the major benefits of this is that it may minimize the expenses and at
the same tome also work for monitoring entire activities.

Smart devices of internet
As per the view point of Botta and et. al., 2016, internet is now become an inseparable
part of human life and day to day operations they perform. This is because numerous of
technologies are being anticipated which work toward improving and simplifying the activities
performed by the people in their life. These technologies usually involves different home
appliances which are relevant as per today's requirement in order to simplify the work like
lighting, electricity, temperature, etc. by providing control to the owner with help of IOT to make
it more effective. Home can be made smart with use of internet friendly techniques which assist
in completely tasks frequently and with more efficiency. Smart home environment can be made
with use of internet and control them with hand. This makes environment positive and relevant in
context of external market. With the help of smart TV, smart watch, automated lights, windows,
curtains, etc. comfortable environment can be created. In current market, smart home
environment is result of lavish lifestyle which can be acquire with cost and time.
Among these devices smart phones and smart watches are more in trend which support in
performing particular task in quick manner at a comfort level without getting afraid of missing
them. According to the view point of Kumar and et. al., 2017, To make home environment smart,
there is requirement of internet connectivity through Wi- Fi, dongle, etc. which is effective for
performing activities in specific manner. By using internet smart devices can be used to enhance
the level of day to day activities as by connecting smart devices these activities can be performed
at more comfortable manner. The most common technology in these smart devices are smart
watches, mobile phones with the internet enabled capacity. According to the view point of
Gizmag, 2016, smartwatches are being launched that provides a look of traditional kind of watch
which have the capability to sync smartphone and devices which required information at a
glance. These kind of smart watches are more convenient that help in getting quicker notification
despite of usual fumbling within the pocket in order to pull the smart phone out for having a look
over notification. These kind of smart clock provides an option where users can set the kind of
information they want to be displayed in their watch. This includes incoming calls, messages,
weather updates, calendar reminder, security alarm over the arrival of new people and many

phone may also leads to unauthorised access when mobile used by some another person.
