human resource technology which are adopted by a company in order to retain employees such
as provide training, benefits, flexible working hours and many more (Mowday, Porter and Steers,
2013). Organization taken in this assignment is Lost Society which is operating at Batter sea,
London, United Kingdom. The respective restaurant is famous for quality cocktails, electric and
attractive decoration by mirror as well as plants. They serve variety of mouth watering dishes
and cocktails. The respective report is based on identifying various methods of employees
retention by which an organisation enhance its overall productivity. For identifying ways
respective restaurant conduct research and for that they gather data by adopting several methods
like questionnaire.
Background
Employees retention is describe as a method which is based on capabilities of a company
in order to retain their employees for a long duration. By this company able to develop positive
and effective working environment which encourage employees to conduct work properly so that
company able to attain its goal as well as objective properly. This can be done by a firm through
various ways such as providing benefits, training, motivation and many more. Lost Society is
running their business at London, United Kingdom. They offer variety of mouth watering food as
well as cocktail which attract customers. Along with this, the respective restaurant is situated by
roof and its decoration is done by plants as well as mirrors which attract service users.
Research Problem
Research problems is describe as an issues that a researcher face when they are
conducting any project or research on a specific topic. This issues can be related to funds, time
requirements, respondents of candidates, labour skills, limited resources and many others
(Anitha, 2014). These problems impact on outcome of project directly or indirectly. In respect of

this research, project manager of Lost Society face various problems such as less funds,
respondents are not responding properly, proper resources are not available and so on. This will
impact on outcome standard which is develop by researcher on respective topic.

Research Purpose
It refers to requirement or objective for conducting research on a particular topic. The
major objective of conducting research on analysing different methods of employee retention
through which an organisation can enhance their overall productivity is that through this Lost
Society able to retain their employees. Along with this, they also able to determine appropriate
method through which they motivate employees and encourage them to stay in respective
restaurant for a long time duration (Feige and et.al., 2013). This will help them in enhancing
staffs productivity that leads to increment in productivity and market shares.
Scope of Research
Scope of research is determine as a scope through which project manager of a research
able to know effectiveness of their research. It is generally determine or analysis by adopting
three levels i.e. organizational, marketing and environmental. In context of Lost Society, their

project manger adopt qualitative method because through it they able to collect appropriate and
effective data. Along with this they also adopt primary method for which they prepare a
questionnaire so that they get appropriate respondent of audiences.

It refers to elements or resources which are used by a project manager in order to conduct
their researcher in effective manner. In respect of respective project resources which are required
by researcher are funds, skilled and experienced staffs, time and many more. Through these

help in attaining proper goal.
