Basic concept of cultural diversity

used for effective representation of a organisation. It is a issues that is present in every
organisation and with growing popularity of concept like globalisation has lead to high amount of
cultural diversity at the workplace. It arises because of many different reasons like nationality, age,
sexual harassment, religion, socio economic conditions, race religion, background, culture etc.
Issues arising because of gender pay gap:
According to view points of Barak, (2016), It can be said that gender pay gap can be identified as a

issue that has lead to development of lot of problems at workplace. It mainly occurs because of
non effective practises at workplace. This occurs because of gender pay gap leading towards
decline in overall productivity of employees and lead to increase in employee turnover. That lead
to delay in achievement of objectives and goals. This is the issue that arise when organisation is
not paying equal compensation to women and men employees. This has a direct impact on the
employee performance level and also they are willing to switch to other organisations.
Practises helping in dealing with issues of gender pay gap
According to view points of Gascoigne, (2019) there are many large scale organisations that are
operating their business at international level with instance to Jaguar company and are now
focussing on exploring some new ways that can help in reduction of gender pay gap. Some of the

There are different approaches that can be used by investigator for purpose of achievement of
objectives according to present research work. For conducting a study in a more effective manner
there are certain elements that are part of research onion. These are explained below:
Research philosophy- In the present investigation researcher will be using pragmatist philosophy
to consider the aspects that are associated with a particular research topic “ To determine the role
of managing culture diversity to deal with issues of Gender pay gap in organisations” A case on
Jaguar company.
Data source: For the purpose of collecting detailed information it is very important for the
investigator to use both primary and secondary sources. Questionnaire will be selected as the
primary source of collecting information and in case of secondary sources will include journals,
books, online articles and published material sources.
Research strategy: It refers to the strategy that is used by investigator for purpose of execution of
investigator plans associated with the research. There are different research strategies like survey,
case study, experimental research, direct interviews etc. in the present investigation researcher has
used survey as a method for the purpose of completion of research in more systematic manner.
Research choice: Research choices is used to identify various methods that can be sued by
investigator for collection of information and using a mono method for the purpose of conducting
the research.
Research approach- In case of present investigation, inductive approach of research has been
adopted by the investigator where the information will be presented by use of certain graphs. It
will also lead to attainment of various research outcomes.
Research design: Among various types of research design the most appropriate design in context
of present research work is the exploratory research design as it helps in getting a detailed
information and also contributes towards exploration of various aspects of a topic to support some
valid outcomes.

Sampling design: For the purpose of selection of respondents without nay type of biased
behaviour it is very import at to use a particular sampling technique. In the present research report
there will be selection of 40 respondents for purpose of collection of information.
