The aim of this research project is To investigate the impact of the workplace discrimination pertaining to
managing the employee’s performances and company productivity at larger scale - study on ASDA.

To explore understanding in relation to the concept of workplace discrimination in the terms of
business.
To determine the potential impact of workplace discrimination over the increasing productivity and
performance of ASDA.
To analyze the potential issues faces by ASDA due to discrimination at workplace.
To identify the possible ways that ASDA can adapt in respect to reducing the influence of
discrimination.

What are the best possible ways that ASDA adapted in respect of reducing the impact of workplace
discrimination?

is a wide area of managing writing which helps an individual in developing knowledge in relation to the area
of workplace discrimination. However, the primary reason for executing this study is that, discrimination is
termed to be the major issue in today’s business environment which affects the operations and progression of
the business. In addition to this, it helps in building the profession through deciphering different approaches to
assemble the data and furthermore decipher the information to make the examination interesting and unique
than the other investigations related to the similar area of the work. Therefore, the Another reason of doing this
venture is that it builds up the capacity of understanding the administration methods and strategy to manage
distinctive culture individuals at work place conveying the various models to embraced the undertaking.

Literature review is simply defined as the aspect which plays an effective role in developing detailed analysis
over a specific area of investigation. This section is based on secondary aspect like books, journals, published

According to the opinion provided by Jennifer Lombardo, 2020, workplace discrimination is characterized to
be the unreasonable treatment of workers that are envelops over biases, consequently, in another words,
segregation can likewise be assessed as the equivalent compensation remuneration, sexual direction, national
unique, pregnancy religion, incapacity, race and sex. In addition to this, workplace discrimination emerge
inside the association may influence the general execution of the representatives in a negative way as it makes
issues and issues among the staff individuals. Working environment segregation should be possible based on
sex, race, training, foundation, physical appearance and some more.

conflict which is mainly faces by business or its employees. Therefore, Discrimination simply means to
treating an individual unfairly and illustrating prejudice. Many types of workplace discrimination leave
employees feeling unsafe, threatened, uncomfortable, and prejudiced against at work. However, ASDA is a
large retail firm which has its major concern over approaching the most effective tools to reducing the issue of
discrimination and improvise the operations of the business, this there are assorted ways like providing
diversity training, equal pay, Complaint Policy and Procedure, effective communication, hiring skilled
workforce and so on, thus, these are the key measures that can be opt by ASDA for gaining higher growth and
success via reducing the issue of discrimination at workplace.
