identify potential knowledge. Moreover, different data collection methods and research
methodologies are utilized for gathering efficient results which creates the basis for conclusion
and interpretation of the research assignment.
1.2 factors that contribute to the process of research project selection

Types of care services provided in hospitals:
As per the view point of Dumanovsky and et. al., (2016), different types of healthcare

support, preventative care, dental care, substance abuse treatment, laboratory and diagnostic care,
physical and occupational therapy, parental care etc. All these types of services are provided in
the hospital to patients (Dumanovsky and et. al., 2016). Care services provided in a hospital are

provided below:
Primary care services- Theses are the most basic day to day healthcare services offered
by a hospitals or health care provider. Primary care services are taken as the first contact in any
health care system which act as front door for a patient for having a continuing care that consists

2017).
Laboratory and diagnostic care- These health care services are mainly associated with
lab tests and other diagnostics care and procedures used to check about whether health of a

healthcare professionals in providing care services to patients. These challenges include work

time with patients, less number of staff and lack of advancement opportunities (Black, 2016).
Due to all these challenges, care professionals are unable to provide quality care services to
