2. Overview and significance of the proposed study
Artificial intelligence is defined as a field of computer science which
emphasizes the development of intelligent machines which work and react
like a human. It is one of the advanced computer technologies that are able
to control and manage the physical things and devices with the help of
machines and devices which can enhance transport services in Abu Dhabi
(Byon, and Liang, 2014). In this modern generation, artificial intelligence is
used in the transport industry for reducing human efforts and improving the
performance of transport services. In Abu Dhabi, many transport industries
are using the features of artificial intelligence technology in order to
manage the more complex situations and reduce efforts required for
developing products which can increase transport services in Abu Dhabi.
It is observed that the AI technology impact on transport services in both a
positive and negative manner. In a positive way, it helps the consumers for
managing the numbers of tasks at a time and reducing overall complexity in
the workplace which can enhance transport services in Abu Dhabi (Singh,
and Gupta, 2015). But, in a negative manner, it is directly associated with
security threats and risks due to which companies and business sectors can
reduce their productivity and also impact on the transport services and
products. The opportunity of artificial intelligence is increasing very fast in
Abu Dhabi where it provides a way for managing the transport services in
an effective manner which also enhance transport services in Abu Dhabi In
the last two years, the use of artificial intelligence is increased by 35% in

Abu Dhabi because of their ability for controlling the effectiveness of the
transport services provided by the companies.
This significance of the proposed research is to evaluate the impact of AI
technology in the transportation industries and services in the Abu Dhabi
and examine their future opportunities in Abu Dhabi. The major focus of this
research is to describe the importance of the artificial intelligence in the
area of transport industries and highlight their effectiveness in the
enhancement of transport services (Al Kaabi, Dissanayake, and Bird, 2012).
It is observed that adopting the artificial intelligence in the businesses is
one of the effective strategies that can help the companies for reducing the
errors and problems faced by the employees and workers which can
enhance transport services and also increase transport services in Abu
Dhabi. Therefore, from the perspective of the research, the selected topic is
very appropriate that can help the readers for finding the importance and
impact of AI in the transport services in Abu Dhabi. It is observed that the
annual growth of artificial intelligence is around 33% per year in the UASD
and it is increasing very fast that can enhance overall opportunities of AI-
based machines in the transportation industries which also enhance
transport services in Abu Dhabi.
3. Aims and objectives
There are various kinds of aims and objectives of the proposed research
which are described below:
 To gain experience and skills in the area of artificial intelligence
 To examine the impact of AI in the managing transport services in
Abu Dhabi
 To identify the role and opportunities of artificial intelligence in Abu
Dhabi and UAE
 To describe the key factors related to artificial intelligence
