The research is being performed to evaluate and study the impact of social media on consumer
behaviour. This will be a result that they will be either increasing their sales or decreasing it.

The research is performed on the well known fashion industry Marks and Spencer's which is
dealing in a wide variety of goods and services along with diversifying its market reach in both
virtual and physical markets as well.
Section Three: Research Rationale
This report is relies on the topic the impact of social media on buying behaviour of customers.
This will going to represent each and every issues which are faced by the company Mark and
Spencer because of using social media platforms. This act as an rational for operating or
conducting this investigation and accomplish business objectives and amended result. This is
investigation will be very effective and successful for the business and for the stakeholders
because as this investigation is going to identify the problems and impact of social media
platform on the consumer behaviour and will going to help the researcher to resolve all these
issues. This will going to help the researcher to improve their different skills and there lacking
points . this will also help them to develop their skills of decision making data collection time
management and many more. As all these skills are very important for the researcher in order
to complete the investigation in a very effective and appropriate manner. This report is going
to help me to identify the benefits of social media for the business and also the challenges

according to view point of Aldwairi and Alwahedi, (2018), Social media platform provide an
easy and low commitment method or mode for potential consumers to express their interest in
the business and the product. There are several benefits of social media platform. Social media
platform help the business to attract more customers bass and get their feedback and build
customer loyalty towards the company. It will also increase the market research including
International markets. It will help the company to develop their brand image and increase their
revenue by developing and building the customer networks and Advertising.
What are the impact of social media on buying behavior of customers in Marks &
Spencer.
In view point of Aslani, P., (2018), There are several types of impact of social media on
buying behaviour of the customer that relates with their psychological thoughts which include
motivation perception their believes in attitudes. Their personal life style for their age this
circumstances and their family status references 20 all the factors create impact on the social
media towards buying behaviour of the customer. Social media platform influence the people
in that way in which the individual modify their behaviour in order to meet the demands of a
social environment. This will also influence the consumer mind send and their thought process
to purchase anything. For Marks and Spencer sometimes it's become much difficult to

understand the consumer behaviour because of their different lifestyle and age issues.

According to view point of Joo, Choi and Baek, (2018), There are several challenges which are
faced by Marks and Spencer by using social media platforms. The biggest issue or challenges
which are faced by the company in regards of social media are lack of resources. This are the
major challenges which are faced by the company. Social media platform also increase the
competition level among the market so it become a major threat for the company to build loyal
relationship among the customers and Organisation. It will also create impact on the cost of the
company because of adopting the Trends and technologies which are running in the market in
order to grow in the market and create use customer base towards the organisation.
