For the purpose of conducting this project,
methodology of choosing existing business is
selected. For this, White Furniture has been
selected which is an American based furniture
company. It is well known for producing fine
furniture and hence possesses large set of
target customers. In present project, I have
showcased the expansion of this company into
new segment, i.e. office furniture. Here, main
concern while developing furniture is on the
office ergonomics so that health issues can be
concerned. While framing outline for this
project, I was having two set of options to
complete the same i.e. either new business
start-up as an entrepreneur or developing
futuristic plan for existing business. However,
my idea was to introduce furniture that best fits
with office ergonomics and same is not
feasible for new start-up. Therefore, by
considering the feasibility aspects, existing
business is selected for the aforesaid business
plan and hence White Furniture Company is
selected. It is a well-established firm along
with sound financial condition which can adopt
the concept of office ergonomics so that new
heights within business growth can be attained.
