INTRODUCTION
Conflict management refers a process and practice of understanding, identifying as well as
handling conflicts in an effective and fair manner (McKibben, 2017). A workplace is called
effective and productive when there is no conflict and people have improved relation with each
others. This present study is going to show some ways of tackling conflicts with help of some
skills and understanding that how it can help in improving professional relationship at
workplace. It will show importance of having positive attitude, patience, active listening, critical
analysis, decision making and others skills which allow people in managing conflicts.

It is based on the practices of being able to determine the current business condition or
situation. This practice will help for handle the conflict sensibly, fairly and efficiently. Since,
conflict in the enterprise that are consider as natural part of workplace (Aqqad, Obeidat and
Masa'deh, 2019). It is an essential that there are various employers who can understand the
conflict management process.
In today’s world, Conflict happens when staff member respond and resolve conflict among
people. It enable that employee achieve success. Here are five conflict style that manager will
follow according to the need or requirement (Jit, Sharma and Kawatra, 2016). In workplace,
manager is responsible person who cooperates to high degree. This approach is consider an
effective way in which person expert has a better solution.
Conflict management process is avoiding the issue in which manager might attempt to
resolve conflict among staff members (Katz and et.al., 2020 ). It is an important conflict style
that help for other employees to reach their goal and objective. However, this work well when
issue is becoming trivial or when manager has no chance of winning.
Collaborating manager has been participated in the business operation and function. In order
to achieve the desirable goal and objective in this style. In workplace, manager can break free of
win-lose paradigm which seeking the win-win. It also considered the effective way to handle

support for manager to find appropriate solution.

solving problems in an effective manner. When people focus on listening rather than speaking
continuously then it makes them able to understand perceptions, reasons and needs of other party
(Tjosvold, Wan and Tang, 2016). After listening all things by being calm and using effective
communication skills, people at workplace try to mitigate conflicts at their own and understand
each others’ perception which improves their relation (Meng and Boyd, 2017). When people
understand each others perceptions then it makes them feel valued which improves their relation.
Patience: It is other main skills which is important in managing conflict and improving
relation with colleagues at workplace and making workplace productive and effective as well.

in both side allows employees to take decision and trying to solve misunderstanding and

person become biased and due to this conflict arises as it makes other people feel de-motivated

important for manager and employees to separate conflicts from people as well as their personal

can be solved out in a very fair and effective manner.
