Title: A comparative analysis of Procurement Challenges in emerging markets A case study
of Nigeria and China
Research Questions
 How can the analysis of procurement challenges within the emerging markets of
China and Nigeria be compared?
 What are the various approaches managed to by the businesses in these two countries
to ensure management of proper supply chains along with better sourcing and funding
related aspects too?
 What are the most suitable measures recommended to overcome the procurement
challenges associated with the emerging markets in China and Nigeria?
Methodology
The descriptive research design would be the most suitable, as the researcher could
assess the existing theories, ideas and concepts for the development and testing of hypothesis,
furthermore ensure gaining in-depth information while conducting the research effectively
(Nassaji, 2015). The random probability sampling method should allow for selecting samples
randomly and provide them with survey questionnaires where they would provide their
respective views and opinions, furthermore facilitated the collection of quantitative data. On
the other hand, the non-probability convenient sampling technique could enable the
researcher to conduct an interview session with the managers of the organisations and ask
open ended questions (Ehlers 2014). The sample size has been chosen 30 respondents and 4
managers of the organisations. The responses and views of theirs would be considered as
qualitative data and these data and information, together, should constitute the primary data.
The secondary sources of data include the journals, articles, newspapers and websites from
which, data and information would be collected (Danzon et al. 2015).
