INTRODUCTION
Researching business and management is associated with effectively gathering relevant
set of information related with the industry, company or its competition. This study will focus on
effectively carrying out complete degree of analysis related with the two research articles where

ANALYSIS OF THE QUALITATIVE DATA
Article: Integrating embeddedness with dynamic capabilities in the
internationalisation of fashion retailers.
Concepts from the data
This study focuses on significantly gaining in- depth set of interviews related with the
key informants linked with the international fashion retail companies and also determine the
dynamic capabilities which enhances the varied degree of embeddedness at different levels.
Research linked with the international retailing has significantly produced varied set of
descriptive studies that tends to use established set of concepts related with the entry mode
choices.
Literature search
Frasquet and et.al., (2018) sought to determine the fact that, the key development of the
global networks associated with the sourcing, management knowledge and swelling operations
which in turn has been significantly provided to the managers with the varied set of difficult and
new strategic challenges. Brand building capabilities are considered to be prominent in
effectively transferring the key essence of the brand. This is relevant in responding to the cultural
integration associated with the brand. This in turn requires high degree of knowledge linked with
the management capabilities. Kiazad and et.al., (2020) stated that, network embeddedness in turn
is significantly required from company with the dynamic set of capabilities associated with the
adaption in order to establish and effectively manage the key networks associated with the
relationship of varied countries within each country. It is of utmost importance to effectively
manage the customer relationship within the store. Retail firms tends to significantly operate in
different markets which tends to use multiple channel distribution which requires strong set of

capabilities. Social embeddedness is mainly associated with the culture, history and key
institution of the firm's market.
Methods used to examine the data
The research design used for the present study is linked with in- depth qualitative
interviews with the multiple set of case analysis in order to effectively establish links related
with the embeddedness and dynamic capabilities in the
internationalisation of fashion retailers. The research has been significantly carried out in the
real life context and is specifically structured in the form of how and why form of questions. This
design is relevant in the exploration of the key issues. The qualitative research design is
prominent in generating rich set of data. A single study has been selected where the main focus
was on the mid sized firms. However, in- depth interview has been carried out with the 7 senior
board level managers who are responsible for international strategy within UK based fashion
retailers and also includes 4 investment analysts who tends to specialize within the mid- sized
retailers (Frasquet and et.al., 2018). It tends to mainly comprise of the mid- sized retailers with
distinct characteristics and are also considered as case studies. However, principle of purposeful
has been significantly applied rather than random sampling method. The key firms which were
selected are head office
located within UK, vertically integrated, wide international presence, as well as using multiple
channels at home and abroad.
Different or similar themes identified across data
Similar set of themes has been significantly identified within the article which states that the
integration of the dynamic capabilities and embeddedness concepts tends to significantly light
key shed upon the internationalization procedure of the retailers and also significantly identify
the role associated with different dynamic capabilities. This tends to aid embeddedness within
the international market.
Theoretical or practical implications associated with findings
The paper tends to significantly present the integration of theoretical approach related
with embeddedness as well as dynamic capabilities. There seems to be integration of the two
theoretical approaches through which it helps in providing deeper and new understanding of
nature linked with the retail internationalization (Frasquet and et.al., 2018). It has been
interpreted that, societal embeddedness has been significantly achieved with the main process

related with the transfer of the organizational values and culture within host countries. It has
been analysed that, there seems to be high degree of prior role associated with branding to the
societal embeddedness. It is the core capability to effectively transfer and effectively gain wide
set of decision. It is also prominent in establishing an effectively managing the network.

munificence and the accelerated internationalization of SMEs.
Hypotheses and measures used within research
This study expects to have procedural set of rationality which is negative linked with the
accelerated SME internationalization. The reason behind this is to make efforts and also
prioritize the market for entry. Another reason to significantly create high degree of inflexibility
to respond promptly with the emerging opportunities.
 Hypothesis 1. SME's that adopt more procedural rationality within strategic
decision-making processes and are less likely to be accelerated with the internationalizers.
 Hypothesis 2. SME's that tends to exhibit more politicization within strategic decision-
making and processes are less possible to be accelerated within internationalizers.
 Hypothesis 3 a. With the increasing international munificence, also procedural
rationality will tend to have a more negative effect upon SME's accelerated
internationalization.
 Hypothesis 3 b. With the increasing international munificence, also politicization
will tend to have a more negative influence on SME's accelerated internationalization.
Measures
Dependent variable
Accelerated internationalization is considered to be as a dummy variable which helps in
capturing if the organization has become international early within organizational life cycle.
Independent variable
Procedural rationality has been significantly measured on Cronbach alpha= 0.76.which is
linked with the scale. Politicization has been measured on Cronbach alpha= 0.77. International
Munificence has been significantly measured on Cronbach alpha= 0.62.
Control variables

Controlling associated with the effects of three firm characteristics has been linked with
the industry, firm size and international entrepreneurial orientation (Petrou and et.al., 2020).
Firm size has been measured in the form of logarithmic. Industry with the dummy variable tends
to denote a service firm.
Study sample
To significantly determine the relationship between the accelerated internationalization
and decision-making features of the SME, sample of 176 internationalized SME from the Greece
with different timings linked with the internationalization has been selected. However, initially
the random sampling method has been selected where 1000 SME has been extracted in order to
meet selection criteria.
Data collection method
Primary method of data collection has been used where Harman’s one-factor analysis has
been significantly used (Kiazad and et.al., 2020). The items within the questionnaire has been
significantly based upon the previously developed sales.
Data analysis techniques
The key data analysis technique linked with this research is correlation, descriptive
statistics and regressions method. T- test analysis and other SPSS methods to effectively
determine the effects of the strategic decision making processes upon accelerated
internationalization. T-tests results showed
that, there has been no significant differences within either industry (p > 0.45)
or location (p > 0.67).
Study findings
The descriptive statistics
tends to show that 63% of the participants has been accelerated in internationalizing
firms. Hence, this high percentage is mainly because of the reduced degree of domestic
opportunities within Greece. Most of the internationalized firms are considered to be as the
manufacturing firms. The key findings tends to significantly demonstrate that, the Greek firms
tends to seek sales for the products within the foreign market and is mainly because of small size
related with the Greek market. It has been examined that, there seems to be moderating effect of
International Munificence linked with relationship associated with the accelerated

internationalization and procedural rationality is considered to be negative. The managers of the
SME can significantly make the right decision.
Theoretical or practical implications associated with findings
There seems to be limited degree of theoretical as well as empirical set of attention
related with this research. theoretical as well as empirical implication has been applied similar
countries within Europe and also other parts of world (Petrou and et.al., 2020). As per the
theoretical perspective, it has been examined that, politicization and procedural rationality tends
to have negative effect upon the accelerated SME internationalization. Increasing international
munificence has effectively strengthened this negative relationship. However, the theoretical
approach mainly contributes towards speed of decision making within SME.
CONCLUSION
It has been summarized that, network embeddedness is is of crucial importance to
effectively manage the customer relationship within the store. The research design used for the
present study is linked with in- depth qualitative interviews. There is a high degree of prior role
linked with branding towards societal embeddedness. In the other quantitative article, it has been
summarized that, the Greek firms tends to seek sales for the products within the foreign market.
Also the effect of International Munificence related with relationship accelerates
internationalization and procedural rationality is negative.
