1.1 Significance of resources in teaching and learning
The term resources refers to the materials which are used as a source for instructing the
students or learners to facilitate and to achieve educational objectives. In other words resources
are designed to help the people who are motivated to develop their knowledge and learning
(Moreira-Fontán and et.al., 2019). Text books, lectures, digital learning source like video,
animation, images, audio are the few examples of resources. The purpose of resources in
teaching not only create the educational process interesting or attracting but assists the learners in
developing advance skills, values, attitude, ethics which directly or indirectly provide an edge in
the job hunting process. It helps to create a positive as well as organized environment for the
students and provide support in the process of learning and teaching. The report would discuss
the importance of resources in business teaching and learning process. It is an undeniable fact
that resources plays a key role in T&L as it brings diversity in the method of teaching and save
time, energy when giving the details of the subject matter. With the change in time, the concept
of resources includes various diagrams, models, charts, practical approach, application based
theories etc. to communicate the knowledge to the learners. Understanding and acquisition of
knowledge facilitate the learners with different resources. In T&L process, resources can be
classified into two different ways: when the material is used by the teacher it is known as
teaching resource but when utilized by the students or learners then it is called as learning
resources.
1.2 Evaluate the effectiveness of resources in business
The purpose and objective of resources has clearly explained above from which it could
be evaluated that it could help in effective learning as well as provide productive material to the
teachers (Menéndez and et.al., 2019). It is important to utilize variety of resources while teaching
such as handouts, videos, presentation etc. as in today's learning method the students and learners
expect advanced materials for teaching by using different strategies. It is significant while
selecting the kind of resources as it must ensure that it provides equal opportunity, reflect
diversity and challenge stereotypes. Illustration of this could be that the text and images being
used in the PowerPoint presentation must portray all aspects of the topic. Considering the
business which is the area of specialization the most common resource being used is desktop or

laptop as it is one of the excellent resource while connecting with the learners. In the world of
digitalization, being tech-friendly is essential for the students as well as teachers to better
communicate with each other. In the field of teaching business, there are ample of tasks which
cannot be possible without the help of computer (Apuke and Iyendo, 2018). Because the old
concept of teaching i.e. theoretical aspect could make the classroom a place of boredom and
learners might be less attentive. This is the sole reason for relying on the laptop as a resource. It
could store all the materials in the format of soft copy which could be shared to the learners also.
The additional physical storage and time to prepare material is also saved. The resource is
effective because even in the time of pandemic it was possible to connect with the learners
through google meets or zoom collaboration tools.
2.1 Analyse the resource design principles
The meaning of resource design is that it supports the learning goal and experience while
contributing towards the consolidated learning to maintain the sufficient quality and quantity.
Resource design could be effectively formed by communicating between the content experts,
teachers and learning peoples (Grant, 2019). It also uses educational practice which are creative
in nature. Teaching with the help of WordPress and Digital Tattoo Project are helpful and there
are few principles that should be followed such as respect, iteration, collaboration, sustainability
and efficiency. The resource design could be analysed with the help of an example. Students or
learners are offered that there is a single method to solve the application based question
according to the textbook or other materials. There are general principles of resource design
which should be strictly followed before selecting any resource. There should be flexibility to
include, add or reduce the content from the materials which could be possible in PowerPoint
slide or Word file. This is the good method to form the resource design and electronic resources
are the best which are the accessibility criteria for selection. Whereas considering the documents
which are primarily textbooks or notes, they are compiled by combining pages which if not
correct could not be amended or modified. Author or publisher need to modify the entire book
which considered to be wastage of paper and time. Thus, electronic mode of documents and
resources are beneficial for the teacher which are easy to share to the learners for further
reference.

2.2 Assess the sources that inform resource development
Before selecting any resource or creating resource there is a requirement to search for
sources which provides developed resources. The very first thing while electing resources is to
evaluate from the course or syllabus of the business specialisation. That is the best manner to
scrutinize the resources because it directly provided by the education authority (McGrew, 2020).
There are many websites from where sources could be taken which provides detailed unit wise
materials for teaching business. Before considering the site it must be first evaluated that it is
authentic and the data is reliable. The information which is provided on Wikipedia is not relevant
and both the teachers and learners should avoid from using the sources. While developing
resource there is a need to look all the sources whether its electronic mode or textbooks. The
business specialization required sources which provides credibility and authenticity. Teacher
should consider the journals which could be accessed by taking licence. Whereas, before
following the resources there is a need to discuss other colleagues and teachers to get a feedback
before utilizing the source for learning and teaching. Teacher should able to evaluate the
authentic and non-authentic materials which provide lessons plans to the learners (Barron, 2020).
Therefore, source play an important role before figuring out the resources for the business. For
teaching and learning business, they also use various different software for the basic learning of
the significant concepts of the business subject.
2.3 Theories and models of inclusive curriculum design
Inclusive curriculum design refers to the overall course structure which includes the
resource as well as better learning experience to the learners with a wide variety of resources.
This also enhance the teacher own knowledge and skill (Bunbury, 2020). It reduces the limitation
of representation of course material by applying various theories and models of the given
curriculum. There are various theories which includes in this are behaviourism, constructivism
and cognitivism that provide better inclusive education. The first theory is considered as a
general instruction or practice which focus on to provide guideline to specific students which
needs special attention. This model is applied by giving tasks to the learners regarding the
business materials. The learners get feedback regarding the same which helps them to improve
their performance. The another model helps the teachers to better understand the learner's ability
and then accordingly construct their ways or resources which helps them in the learning process.
The last model of inclusive curriculum design is the cognitivism approach which helps the

students to think and organize their knowledge with the different methods of learning to result in
increasing the mental process. For the business specialization, the best method for learning is the
cognitivism model because it helps the teacher to make the teaching more interactive by different
methods of styles through electronic medium.
2.4 Ways in which resources can be adapted
The resources could be adapted and incorporated by enabling legal permission to be used
by the teachers. There are many sources from where resources could be evaluated for teaching.
To use the resources by learners, scholars, teachers or students it must be in the public domain
and not restricted by the copyright. The copyright material could not be copied and could only be
used for referencing. There are metadata standards which are being followed by the resource
authorities. The teacher could adapt different resources by addressing unique needs which
enables educators to effectively use them. The information relating to business field is in
abundance and in today's world digital knowledge is openly licensed. So it is the role of the
teacher to select the resources which are correct and authentic for the learners. OER publisher are
the one which provide quality resources for the teachers which could be purchased. This helps to
provide students better learning outcomes as the resources which are being adapted are effective.
Intellectual Property Laws are come into force when considering the resources as the materials
are being regulated under different legislations of the country. The best way to adapt business
resources is to take the subscription of various platforms which provide articles, presentations,
journals, essays etc. Therefore, in a virtual culture when everything is conducting online,
relevant resources are necessary for the learners and students and Open Educational Resources
are key source to support the practical approach (Bryson and Andres, 2020). Teachers could
easily rely on this resource for teaching and learning new skills and knowledge.

Being a teacher of business, there are multiple points of learnings that are used to
increase the learning prospect or outcome of the student. These resources and point of learning
can be plenty such as films, film, books, brochures, radio, digital tools, VFX, plays etc. And next
for the purpose of practical teaching aspects such tools are used in real life to derive the
examples which are beneficial in the adaptability of skills (Abbott, 2020).

The practicality is really important in business as transactions should be done taking care
of the fact that it involves monetary aspects. There are number of things such transactions,
recording, specialization and managing the broader aspect of the business as students must learn
for educational and curricular purposes.

critical for the students. It must be made sure that resources are being maintained properly

optimum way via online mode which enhances the practicality and knowledge. In current times
there are plenty of resources which are available online and sharing such resources becomes
easy.
Making standards: this is considered to be the best way to share the resources as there must be
important standards which needs to be followed by the sharing channels. This can make the
entire process very systematic (Ottenbreit-Leftwich and et.al., 2018). It is very adaptive and
handy for a teacher. It has capability to wipe out probable troubles.
While giving informative access to others, there are some important factors which must
be considered or taken into account such as sensitivity of the resources, status of it, does user
really have the ability to use or not etc. then only the resources should be handled out.
In united kingdom even being a teacher of business and specialization there are many legal
requirements that needs to be fulfilled. As a little such mistake can also ruin the authenticity, of
the resources which can affect the resources.
There are many business laws and teaching laws that needs to be followed. Which
ensures the due respect of the professions and maintains the reputation and image. If normal
things are being used as a simple tool or instruments then it may become significant to make the

There is registration process for having access to some educational resources which is the
requirement that has been established by the high authorities. If the entrepreneurship books
which are written in the oldest of the times, about the business modes are taken using the barter
systems are used by any of the professors even they need to submit their details and the return
time and if anything happens to the books then they need to face the repercussions.

When a new resource has been developed by the author or professional then it becomes
the prime responsibility of the creator to go to the respective registration office to register such
findings in order to protect the resources. The intellectual properties also must be protected from
any mishaps which can adulterate the knowledge and findings.
A teacher can also come up or develop the study material or learning related sources as
being a teacher one indulges in to the detailed study of the topics and business models. And
based on such study and research various sources which can help others in the profession can be
built.
If any resource, books, journals, PDFs etc. are used then it is the responsibility of the user
to give the proper credit of sources by using proper citations, reference etc. And in case if such

to use the resources. It makes one responsible and respectable towards the profession (Staudt
Willet and Carpenter, 2020).

There are many rights which are constantly helping creators protect the credibility and
data. One such right is The copyright, design and patents act 1988, prevents the use of someone
else's materials or inventions and innovations for any use which is commercial and non-
commercial.
Even for teaching purposes also due permission should be taken from the respective
creator and authors. This right also prevents any copy that anyone is assuming to form. This right
basically understand the authenticity of the resources and efforts it took.
For every profession it is important to respect the work and developments of the
professionals. Otherwise, the authenticity of the data and innovation will be lost in the process.
The copy right act of the UK specifies the need to register every important innovation and
finding which can help the growth and development of the profession in the long and short term.
And for the use of such resources the prior permission and authorization must be taken
from the respective sources. And in case of breaching the act the repercussion must be suffered
by the party to such act.

market to obtain the knowledge and useful practical (Short, Graham, and Sabey, 2021). There are
various technologies and that are also used at the large scale for the growth and developments of
students and learners.
The students use the internet for every task for the learning and the students can use the internet
equipments to lean about the new things and also get helps from the accomplish the task as well
as teachers can also use the internet for lead the everyday task effectively and efficiently. They
can use the videos on internet for studies and also easily understand about the task in the short
term durations (Zheng, Muthu, and Kadry, 2021).
The students and teachers can use the material such as textbooks, notes, case studies,
equipments, models, theories, handouts, adaptation commercial packages and artefacts for
equipments and tools for the specific purpose, specific use and user guide to consist use of
equipments and computers (Crompton, Bernacki, and Greene, 2020). The teacher can use the
various technologies for teach students in the college level about the learning of students. There
are various news and emerging technologies which can be used by teachers such as DVD,

and resources as well as learning study materials and resources. It the present scenario, it is the

applied the advanced level of technology. This helps in used to automate the activities in college
for graduate students. It helps in improve the teaching abilities through the adaptive programs

and machine learning and artificial intelligence tutors have been improve to teach students and
the teacher can also use the 3D printing technologies for develop teaching facilities for students
and adapt the virtual experience.
The emerging technologies and Elearning are used that helps in support the teaching and
learning for the educational technologies which are most important for the current scenario for
students learning and teaching. The cloud computing are also used for computing resources and
learning management systems software are used as the training program for helps in manage the
course efficiently for teachers to meet the adequate requirements of learners. Custom Elearning

The teaching resource is a material that is planned to benefit facilitate knowledge and
learning acquisition. The use of an internet for education sector to modernise of sharing
communication and information (Adams, 2020). Internet has become the important resources for
effective learning as well as teaching tool. Teachers can also use these resources by simply post
teaching material such as videos and notes etc. on their official websites and forum. By this the
learning process for learners becomes more interesting and diverse with the use of such teaching
material. The internet also offers great chances to improve quality of education. By using these
resources students get better access to learn wider range of information and also learn new skills
in the area of digital. Teaching toolkits is collection of practical and relevant resources to offer
guidance and inspiration for all students. Teaching with the technology by this teacher can
motivates students to learn new skills and also solve their doubt at any time. For example, if
teachers provide recorded lectures on the online websites or application by the way of video, or
shorts lessons etc. so, the students can themselves assess and solve their doubt. By the use of this

disinterest in the learning. So, teachers can design program to make it creative so the students are
more taking parts in the activity and which give them knowledge as well. Teachers can also
organize curriculum in the proper manner, also while making curriculum they must consider how
to engage students in learning. If the students get proper encouraging environments, then they
will get more appropriate knowledge and information. Teachers must integrate with the modern
technology to cope up with the new styles of teaching to encourage students. Presentations is
another resource which teachers can use to engage and also meet students need of learning. With
the help of presentation students learn more because in the presentation there are many pictures
and images by which students are more taking interest. So, learning resources are very important
to engage students in learning (Wang, 2020).

During the assessment or throughout the research I have developed my personality in effective as
well as efficient manner. at the time of learning or practices I have come across several things
that enhance and improve my skills and knowledge in an appropriate manner. with the
assistance of that I can become more productive and profitable for the organization. Apart from
that I have acknowledge that it is important to bring the effectiveness and capability in the
professional life. I was so excited for this assessment as obtain information about me and
personal development of myself. I have acknowledged that in the current period it is important to
evaluate the strength and weakness for the further improvement. Similarly, I have also
determined my strength and weakness too.
For instance good communication skill due to which I am able to exchange my ideas and views
with the people in an appropriate manner. in the professional leg\\fee I can use this skill for
development of my career and increasing my relationship with the variety of the customers and
employees in appropriate manner. with the support of the communication skill I improve my
understanding with the people. apart from that I have good decision-making power with the
support of that I can elaborate views and for the plans of action in an effective manner. it will
help me out in solving the personal as well as professional problems of the people assorted with

the organisation. it allow me to improve my quality of work and increase my reputation in the
company. the adequate decision-making skills allow me to increase the value of the brand and
allow me to represent the organisation in domestic as well as international marketplace. during
the assessment I have realized that I have strength and civility to take the challenges regarding
my forthcoming job role and responsibility. Beside this for the area of improvement I identified
my weakness which is that I am unable to manage my work on time which is important for the
professionalism. Being a professional means a managing the work on time. Due to which the
individual person is able to meet the deadlines in short period of time and make myself multi-
tasking for the further work. time management is the basic key for the success and survive in the
professional life. in context to that I need to focus on the time management skills as soon as
possible. Along with that I also need to form an action plan for the development of teamwork
skills as I am able to cooperate with them for the performance of the task.
