Introduction
Anyone preparing to work in the healthcare sector should have a good
understanding of all the body systems to aid in the provision of effective
intervention based on specialty.
More than 70% of morbid conditions and deaths in the perioperative room
are due to respiratory dysfunction (Patwa & Shah, 2015).
Thereby, would having a detailed understanding of the respiratory system
help to lower this mortality. The purpose of this presentation is to fill the
knowledge gap so that we can all gain more insight into the structure and
function of the respiratory system.
