TASK 33.1 Risk of harm, abuse and failure toprotect.The service provider and service userof health and social care organisation facemany issues associated with incurred risks,abuse and failure to protect fromconsequences of independent life and socialparticipation. Like for an instance patientsuffering from dementia an diseases offorgetfulness is facing continuous risk fromforgetting things to carry out their dailybasic tasks of life.. The patient always forget to switch off thegas and there is huge risk of harm from fireto him and to other neighbours also (Lowesand Hulatt, 2013).This is major problem that is facedby service provider of the Care Home. Theperson independently living in flat is havingrisk of abuse that is major concern forproviding efficient services to protectservice user appropriately form domesticviolence, abuse and sexual harassment.1

All these risk should be considered by staffof Home organisation as well as service userin order to provide and healthy and safe lifeto person.3.2 Effectiveness of managerial approachand polices in promoting management ofrisk.The various policies and procedurescan be implemented in order to decrease riskassociated with service user in providingindependent life and social participation.The organisation should follow a managerialapproach in order to assist various riskincurred during taking care of person likeslippery floor, gas leakage, watery floor,stairs etc. All these risk should be communicated toservice user appropriately so that they cananalyse risk related to their disabilities andbetter respond to particular issues of life.The organisation should ensure timelydelivery of services to person at Home at thetime of need and harm. The Home shoulddeliver their services efficiently andeffectively in order to protect service userand better maintain and communicationsystem to increase efficiency of processes.2
