employees so that they work with high efficiency and effectiveness.

As per the view of Naim and Lenka (2018), line managers and leaders generally play a
very important role within the organisation because they help employees in achieving all
the objectives and goals. Employees are the most important asset of the business which

Research philosophy: There are two different types of research philosophies that are
primarily known as positivism and interpretivism (Federighi, 2019). For carrying out the
present investigation, positivism research philosophy will be selected because this helps in
interpreting the quantitative data in an effective manner.
Research approach: Research approach are of two kinds that are defined as deductive and
inductive (Avci, 2021). In carrying out the following study, the researcher will use
deductive approach because it helps in testing the existing theories in a more effective and
efficient manner.
Research strategy: Research strategies are several types such as interview, grounded
theory, survey, systematic literature review and so on (Lai and Palmer, 2018). In the
current investigation, the investigator will use survey research strategy because it helps in
getting accurate information from the number of respondents.
Research choice: Quantitative and qualitative are of two types of research choices. In
order to carry out the current investigation, the investigator will use quantitative research
choice method is useful because it helps in providing reliable and valid data on the
selected topic.
Research instruments: There are different types of research instruments which are known
as interview, focus group, observation, questionnaire and so on (Jacobs and Cornelius,
2022). These instruments are important and but for collecting authentic data on the given

has selected 30 employees of Tesco for sampling.
