The main reason of choosing this research is t o examine the role of talent management
framework and its future implications for increasing performance of employees within an
organization. This study help in both on personal and professional perspective. In context
to professional, the advantage of this investigation is about talent management strategies
that help researcher in dealing with the organizational issues effectively. In relation to
personal, it help in improving skills that is time management, communication and,
research skills, data analysis many more. Moreover, it also assist researcher to gain
knowledge about the steps used in research which in turn help in conducting future
investigation in a proper manner. Moreover, it help me in development of sound
professional career in future along with development of effective personality which will
assist company's personnel in future to deal with employee associated problems easily.

Use of key literature sources to support your research question, objective or hypothesis:
Literature review is the procedure of collecting information from various sources that is
journals, articles, books and so on. All these sources are useful as well as beneficial for the
researcher in attaining positive and reliable outcome that will leads to achievement of
objectives. The main purpose of literature review is to analyse the research gaps within the
present research. In the current investigation, the major gap is the role of talent-management
frameworks but there is lack of data about the future implications of talent-management at
workplace. In order to overcome with this gap, research questions will be applied, which are as
follows:
What is the role of talent management in an organisation?
As per the view point of Gabriele Giorgi, 2018, talent management plays an important role as it
is effective for an organisation in attaining objectives and long term retention of employees
(Gupta, 2019). Some of the major roles of talent-management within the TESCO are given
below:

Drives innovation: with the help of talent-management process, an organisation is able to
acquire and retain talented employees who are creative and perform activities in a proper
manner. Talented staff members assist other employees by raising motivation as well as
satisfaction between them. It is beneficial as it help in bringing out innovation at workplace
and also supports company in attaining long term objectives (The Role of Talent Management,
2018). Moreover, bringing innovation help respective organisation to achieve competitive
advantage at marketplace which in turn leads to enhancement and growth of business
performance.
Improves business performance: It is one of the important role of talent-management within
the workplace of TESCO. It is stated that talent management help organisation in retaining
highly talented and skilled employees who perform activities in an appropriate and accurate
manner. All this help in improving the business performance effectively and appropriately.
According to JOSHBERSIEN (2017), Compensation has a great role in managing the talent in
the organisation by getting reward on the basis of the performance of each and every
individual. In context to TESCO, organisation is using this compensation which is through the
reward system (Talent Management Framework 2017). This also help in motivating the
employees of TESCO to retain with the organisation. There can also use of incentives which
are there can help in managing the talent in the organisation.
How talent management framework enhancing business performance of TESCO?
According to Joes, 2018, talent management framework consist of various steps like alignment
with strategic business objectives, attracting and acquiring talent, employee performance
management, onboarding, training and development, succession planning, recognition and
many more. All this are the main stages of talent-management framework which will be
important for enhancing the performance of TESCO. It is stated that there are some
implications of talent-management framework on performance of business of TESCO, which
are as follows:
Boost staff performance: It is one of the benefit of talent-management framework which is
advantageous for TESCO in order to enhance the performance (Sheehan, Grant and Garavan,
2018). In addition to this, it is stated that effective performance of staff members supports an
organisation to deal with international clients which leads to achievement of positive outcome
and enhancement of business performance.
Effectively acquire and encourage customers: It is one of the positive influence of talent-
management framework which assist organisation in enhancing the performance and
productivity level. In addition to this, it is stated that motivated staff members put their efforts

in order to attain target goals and achieve objectives in a timely and effective manner.
What is the influence of talent-management on future growth and development of TESCO.
As per the view point of Mona Momtazian, 2019, it is stated that talent management has direct
influence on the development and growth of TESCO. Some of the point which shows its
impact is discussed below:
Success over rivals: It is one of the significance of talent-management on the growth and
success of TESCO. The talented staff members have the ability to attract large number of
customers and deal with them in a proper manner which results in declining the problems of
rivals and also help in attaining competitive advantage at marketplace (Why talent management
important, 2019). This also assist company to strengthen its market performance and gain
higher profit as well.
Raise customer satisfaction: Talented staff members within the organisation assist in raising
satisfaction to customer which in turn aid organisation In future development and growth as
well. Along with this, It also help in enhancing brand image at marketplace that leads to
increase in market performance and share as well.
What are the challenges faced by TESCO while managing talent at workplace.
As per the view point of Mauraya and Agarwal, 2019, it is stated that organisation face many
challenges as well as issues while managing talent at workplace and for this it is significant for
a company to develop effective strategies and plans in order to resolve it. The issues that are
facing are given below:
Increased employee turnover: It is undertaken as one of the important issue faced by
organisation at the time of managing talent. For instance, a company will pay approx one-fifth
of employee's wages on the cost of recruitment in order to ascertain a specific replacement.
Moreover, it would influence on the productivity and success level of organisation negatively.
Lack of leadership: It is consider as another issue faced by company at the time of managing
and retain talent within the organisation (Taylor, 2018). For instance, the upper level
authorities are facing the high level of employee turnover. This arise a problem for HR
manager of respective organisation and affect negatively on performance of company.
