Unit name and code TAEASS401 Plan assessment activities and
processes
Purpose of the assessment The aim of this assessment unit is to provide a profound
knowledge as well as skills that is generally needed for the
planning and procedure of the assessment. The main objective of
the unit is to make the students understand the unity or the
integrity of recognition of prior learning or RPL. The person who
has made the planning of the assessment is involved in the RPL
assessment system. The person has been instructed to indentify
some aspects, which are to utilized in interpreting as well as
analyzing tools of assessment in this facilities. The
implementation of which are to be utilized in formulation as well
as in planning also illustrated.

Performance appraisal report The feedback or the performance appraisal report will help in the
procedure of examination as well as evaluation the recognition of
prior learning assessment procedure in continuation of the
assessment plans. (factor 1 and 3)
Evidence required to be given within fifteen days.
Licensing or legal matters is not required in this assessment. The
performance appraisal or the feedback is highly confidential and
the privacy is needed to be maintained at the time of providing
the feedback or the performance appraisal report. The name of
the student will not be disclosed in public while giving the
feedback.
The result of this assessment will be collected in a recorded
form. The school computer recording system will produce the
result of the assessment.

What is RPL?
Recognition of prior learning or RPL is a type of assessment which helps in the reorganizing the
knowledge as well as skills that can be gained through industrial or academic training work or the
experiences that a person can get throughout the entire life. There are two procedure of the training as
well as the skill development programme. Firstly, it can be improved either formally or it can be
developed through the earlier activities of the students.
What you need to do
The feedback will indicate incase a student have satisfactorily the requirements for each task or not
satisfactorily met the requirements, the assessor will also clarify the tasks that the student must re-
attempt at a later date to demonstrat a satisfactory performance
What evidence you can supply
The evidences like appraisal, face to face interviews, certificates, and third party reports

The RPL claims need to be submitted in one or single unit and it need to be completed. There should
not be any space for partial entries.
