1RURAL HEALTHCARE IN AUSTRALIARural communities in Australia have been affected with various health related issues dueto poor health care facilities. Issues relating to the limitations in the infrastructure and theappointment of experienced personnel in the medical fields have affected the health of thepeople. The evaluation of the issues in the healthcare and the methods of research undertaken bythe authors have unraveled the key elements of the analysis. The community’s input in theservice planning has helped in the understanding of the different aspects of the development thatis being undertaken by the institution in the healthcare practices. On the other hand, theinterviews that are being undertaken by the EPHS have helped in understanding the culture andthe health related needs of the people in the community. The analysis has enumerated a healthcare service- The Elmore Primary Health Service(EPHS), which is located in the outskirts of Melbourne and the services that are being providedby the facility is being evaluated. The report portrays that the healthcare provider providesservices to some 693 people who are the residents of Elmore. On the other hand, the institutealso provides healthcare services to around 3000 people from the surrounding regions. Thesamples that are being taken for the research is based on the rural communities and thehealthcare services that are being provided to them in this regards. It has helped in the thoroughunderstanding of the aspects of the healthcare facilities that are being offered (Tham et al., 2018).The proper identification of the data sources and the thorough understanding of the structural andthe operational systems have helped in understanding the activities of EPHS. The evaluation ofthe healthcare practices and their assessments are being divided in three subsections for the betterunderstanding of the issues relating to the healthcare.
