Safeguarding in Health and Social Care Risk is one of the most crucial and critical factor that is always taken into considerationwhen there is case of care of adults and children. It could be defined as potential for exposure to harm and injuries along with accidents and hazards. Risks could be of several ways such as social, physical,fFinancial or emotional. Psychological Risk When an individual suffer from psychological abuse, then it leads to instability of mental state,causing harm to oneself and others too. These typesof issues come into existence when a person is lonely anddoedosnot have good social bonding. These typesof peoplegetsgetirresponsive and sometimes aggressive as well. Care is not received by adultsmaking them alone and neglected everywhere. In the given case, father of child BV is addicted to alcohol,which leads to many health issues and death of his child as well. Heavy intake of liquorscould be because of some mental issues which made himdrunker. It also leads to accidents causing damagestohealth.Mentalissuesarisebecauseofanxietyor migration.An anxiety person tends to harm people around them. Social Risk IfAan individual who doesnot have good company andbehaviourofsurroundingpeopleisalso negativetowards him,then it leads to social risk. According to the given scenario, both the parents used towereengagedinto alcohol consumption,as a result ofdue towhich theycoulddonot remember anything abouthappenings of previous day which lead to death of their childwhichwhowas just one month old. Carelessness and indulgence of parents intoantisocial behaviourgivengaverise to this incident.Itisunethicalandunacceptable behaviour.ThusiIt is the responsibility of both the parents to take care of their child. Alcohol and drug consumption presents immoral behaviour towards society. Physical risk Physicalrisksinvolvespossibilitiesofaccidentsand hazards which arises due to mental instability, lack of care being provided to the individual, and attention is not given as per person's expectation. People who have faced domestic violence are also risk factors in the society that may harm to anyone.Tension and stress is also one of the major factor into it. Individual Factors Individual factors involves gender,familybackgroundof the family, self-respect etc. that makes an individual to damage oneself and nearby people. To handle such kind of situations it is required to maintain good relations with the person who is suffering loneliness andimproper care issues.They should be dealt with care and love as it could save individuals to a great extent.
