Safeguarding is considered as practices which is determined by a person in order to
promote welfare and protecting aspects in order to protect other from different kinds of harm.
There are several types of practices or activities which are conducted by a person in order to
provide practices related to safeguarding (Everley, 2020). It include practices or elements like
advocacy, positive risk taking, making safeguarding personal and adult family group
conferences. In this it is essential to follow different laws, legislation and policies in order to
ensure that all the safeguarding practices are conducted in best manner. The respective project
include information related to different safeguarding interventions like safeguarding personal,
advocacy, positive risk taking and adult family group conferences in the context of Doris
case. Moreover it will also include evaluation of reasons related to using of safeguarding
practices or interventions as well as it also include several guidance, evidences and legislations
related to it. Along with this it also consider assessment of usage of care intervention.
For a care provider it is essential to consider different safeguarding practices or activities
as that will help in resolving issues as well as problems in effective manner. The main role of
safeguarding practices is to assist in ensuring that people are safe from any type of issue, harm or
abuse situation like discrimination or neglect. The different safeguarding practices help a person
in providing safety as well as security practices or activities to their family members, close one,
friends and many other people. There are different kind of neglect or abuse situation which direct
or indirectly impact on the mental as well as physical health of an individual (Johnson and Sloth-
Nielsen, 2020). Here these abuse are related with emotional abuse, physical abuse, financial or
material abuse, cyber abuse, sexual abuse, cyber abuse and many more. In this it is essential to
adopt different safeguarding practices in order to insure that no person experienced issues related
to safety or guidance. There are several kinds of safeguarding interventions which can be
adopted by a care provider such as safeguarding personal, positive risk taking, advocacy and
adult family group conferences. The Care Act (2014), several councils have thresholds
compatible with the Care act ( 2014). Requirements of qualification in their perception about
where their safeguarding obligations lay. The Care Act (2014 ) introduced a duty to make
inquiries or allow them to be created for every adult in most need of support and care (including
those not which conditions meet qualifying thresholds) who may be at risk of violence or
