In Health and Social Care, the concept of safeguarding while
working with vulnerable clients is generally an action that is
taken in order to promote the well-being of people as well as
potentially protect them from harm and risk (What is
Safeguarding, 2021).
It means to protect the people from harm or abuse by simply
taking effective actions to allow people or the workers to have
the best possible outcomes and positive experiences.
