System analysis is the practice of analyzing the systems for the troubleshooting or for the
development of the purposes. It is been applied to an information technology where the computer
systems needs a defined assessment as per their makeup & design. It includes looking at the end-
user execution of software package or the product and also looking at the source code for
defining methodologies used in developing software or conducting the feasibility study and the
other kinds of research for supporting production and use of the software product among the
other things. The present report is based on local library of UK called as Liverpool library which
is been situated near the streets of London and is stated as an oldest library within London.
Furthermore, this report presents the design and analysis of the monthly report of operations in
which entire library data is included. Moreover, the report comprises of designing data entry
screen in order to record personal details of an individual. In addition to it, book loan type of
input screen would also be presented for testing different types of the activities conducted in the
company for achieving smooth running of the business operations.
Preparing monthly operational report
Monthly operational report is counted as the snapshot of performance data that is present
in MIS on last day of every month. It reflects the performance of the business month wise and
helps in comparing the activities of 1 month with that of another in effective and efficient
manner (Wilson, 2018.). This report enables the company or library in assessing its financial
performance for ensuring that the decisions made are been backed by the sufficient data. Making
evaluation of the remaining budget by way of comparing estimated budgets over actual amount
spend. It also assists in benchmarking actual performance of the firm against an expected
performance.
Summary report of library
The library maintains the database of a customer that involves various functions that is
student id, late charges, loans etc. These functions are directly related with the management of an
organization along with routine transactions in the whole month. An in-depth detail of the library
report is as follows-

organization along with routine transactions in the whole month. An in-depth detail of the library
report is as follows-
Student ID- The firm is having clear policy in which it is reflected that each and every
customer is been treated as the student who issues materials or the book from the library for the
purpose of getting information and knowledge which are requiring from it. Against this the
library facilitates a unique ID number to each customer or student called as the student id. The
number contains 6 digits that are been provided as per the serried of joining by an individual.
When student will enter and exit the library it is compulsory for him or her to have their id.

As per the data stated, it has been analyzed that the library registers greater than 70
students which in turn considered as more than average student with collection of around $21000
by way of registration fees in month of May.
Loans- It means the materials and the books which library provides or issues to its
customers for the purpose of fulfilling their basic necessities. Such needs related to buying for
new study material, however, the students has right to rent such books from the Library. Such
loans are provided for the short span of time that could fulfill the short term needs of the students
(Black and Muddiman, 2017). Library facilitates the services only to the student who are
registered and have student id for the period of more than one year. Moreover, before providing
the loan, a library takes or calls for a security in order to save an interest of the firm. As per the
data represented by the Liverpool Library, it offers the maximum loan of $ 30000 to its
customers and takes security valuing more than $ 50000. Against the loan, library charges vary
low rate of interest in case where time period of loan is for 20-30 days. The loan screen is
prepared based on following details-

Data entry screen is considered to be as one of the most integral fragment of the software
and is one of the most prominent function which has been used by the Liverpool central library
(Park, Heo, and Lee, 2015). Moreover, such screen of the Liverpool libraries mainly comprises
of large number of key elements which in turn are directly associated with getting the extreme
number of information related with the student which has been registered by the Liverpool
central library for carrying out future transactions. Moreover, the first and foremost step
associated with the data entry screen is to effectively load images of the person who is going to
get registered into the library. When the image has been uploaded of the person, then the second
step is to form the biometric of the student. It is referred to as one of the crucial part related with
the overall registration and biometric will help the Liverpool central library in the identification
and appropriate distinction among the individuals. Every student tends to have distinguished
biometric print which helps the Liverpool central library in effectively maintaining a distinct data
base and also appropriately identifying various other functions properly (Noah, Li and Rothrock,
2017). Moreover, after the completion of the biometric session, the manager of the Liverpool
central library tends to accomplish some basic set of condition which mainly comprises of name,
phone number, student id, email, etc. which has been effectively allotted within the system.
Moreover, age, gender, address, date of birth, education qualification, registration purpose, time
period, fees associated with registration are also necessary to be engaged within the system.
Inclusion of all such information within the data entry screen by entering the personal
information of the student wants to register itself with the Liverpool central library.
The book loan input screen
The book loan import screen is considered to be as one of the most integral part
associated with the proper functioning within the Liverpool central library. Subsequently,
Liverpool central library needs to follow some elementary steps which in turn are directly
associated with the book loan and also input screen off loan items. Moreover, some of the book

Step3: The third step associated with the book loan system is linked with the returning of the
book which was earlier issued (Dibble, 2015). Within this book loan system screen, it helps the
manager in getting relevant set of information associated with the book number, book title,
student ID, issue date of book, due date of the book, return date of book and fine (if any). This is
considered to be as an automatic system which helps in generating fine due to delay in
submission, loss of book, damage to the book, etc.
Suitable testing and development activities.
It is referred to be as of utmost importance to effectively test the design and also develop the
product to use as it is evident to solve number of complications which can happen within the new
product. Suitable testing is considered to be relevant which helps in reducing the negative impact
within the Liverpool central library (Verrier and et.al., 2016). In case, if there is any virus within
the set specific software then it can certainly cause damage to the database of the Liverpool
central library. This eventually results in demolishing the private data of students. Testing quality
and functioning of the software, tends to carry out trial for 5 days because it helps in identifying
if the software is ready to use and is also free from viruses. Moreover, For identification the
Liverpool central library tends to use this software for 5 days where it implement it all on a
dummy process of library as well as record number of data in order to check the accuracy within
the trial process. It is stated that, the software is free from virus and is also best suitable for the
Liverpool central library.
CONCLUSION
