Background
Deliva are a parcel service company, which is located in Sydney. They have been facing
high competition from Sydney courier environment. Hence wise they been trying to develop
technological strengths in order to stay in the competition and gain an edge over the other
competitors. In recent time parcel distribution process is performed in a manual manner.
Implementation of an online portal is also expected to be eliminating the performance gap that is
present and increase the efficiency.
Organization’s strategic and business plans and its output requirement
The organization’s strategic plan includes implementing online portal for bettering the
client communication process. This ensures that the staying connected with the clients with the
help of the mobiles and laptops via the online portal. Hence wise implementation of ICT in the
business processing have been the major target of the Delvia. A real time communication system
have been one of the major business based goal that is to be considered. This provisioning of real
time communication have been another aspect that is to be provided. The ICT system is expected
to be helping in increasing the efficiency of the business process as well. This will be providing
business related benefits as well. It is seen that the data that are collected from the clients are
stored in the database and this can be used for future usage (Agarwal 2017). This will be helping
in increasing the efficiency in the performance analysis section. With the help of the ICT
implementation GPS tracking cam be made as well. This will be benefitting the entire business
from both strategic and business perspective.

The strategic as well as operational needs of the ICT project during the planning phase
are as follows: -
Identification of the project’s strategic context as well as the requirement of the project.
Identification of the organization’s output requirements and hence wise perform the
strategic as well as business planning.
Analysis of the client requirement and identify the role of legislation as well as industry
code of conduct and standards in the process.
Perform risk assessment and hence wise identify the risks that are present in operational
process. This have been ensuring the fact that proper estimation of the business management is to
be considered.
Project's strategic context and requirements
The basic requirements that are to be considered for implementing ICT in the business
processing includes the likes of the Cloud computing technology, robotic integration technology
and communication advancement technology. With the help of the cloud computing technology,
features of resource sharing is performed in the section. This will be increasing the speedy
scalability as well as the processing of the streamlining process and agility. This have been
increasing the acceleration of globalization as it has been designed for wide range of the network
access methods (Kettunen and Sampson 2019). Communication advancement technology have
been acting beneficial in the process as well. This is the main reason of then higher efficiency in
the data transaction process.

Identification and exploration of client requirements. This implementation will not only
be bettering the man to man communication process but also better the man to machine
communication process. Again the main role of the robotic integration technology, the main
aspect that is considered is that it will be incorporating the technology of IOT. This integration of
IOT in the business process will be helping in providing real time business proceedings. This
process is mainly focused on the machine to machine to actuator (Milosevic and Dimic 2018).
This is considered as an outgrowth of the machine to machine. With the help of the robotic
integration not only help in gathering the data regarding the real time information but also helps
in acting as per the data that is collected.
It have been seen that the usage of private clouds have been popular aiming the different
business organizations. This have been performing server integration might be easier. The intra
company ICT system have been using the processing of virtualization and hence this will be
bettering the entire process of operational load management (Mihardjo et al., 2019). Hence usage
of cloud service that possesses additional flexibility as well as the operability speed.
In this case study using of robotic integration will be helping in receiving traffic related
information and provide a real time analysis of the movement of the courier services. Movement
of individual people can be analyzed and this will be helping in detecting the exact location of
the person who have been out for delivery. Scheduling of the delivery process as per the traffic
will also be considered in the section (Frehe, Mehmann and Teuteberg 2017). This will be
ensuring the fact that there will be proper assessment of the rush prediction as well. This might
be helping in providing a better assessment of the routes that are to be taken for reaching the
destination in a faster manner. Data collection and data analysis have been the major two aspects

of this tool. It can be stated that a M2M cloud will be having functionalities regarding the
processing of the collecting and storing the data. This data that is stored is hence wise considered
for performing analysis. This analysis ensures that there is a better prospect of the decisions that
are made in automated manner (Gavinelli 2016). This is the main advantage that is received in
the process. There are 4 functions that are to be considered. The very first function that is
considered in the process is the functioning of the analyzing information from the device and
hence determine the process of reacting on the situation on real time basis. The second function
that is considered in the process is that actuators are introduced (Bălan 2018). This ensures that
the entire process gets activated. Another function that is considered in the section is that proper
assessment of the optimum command is to be considered and this will be acting as the basis of
the entire operational functionality.
For the communication process communication advancement technology is considered.
This includes the likes of call interpretation. This will be including the usage of the call
interpretation technology as well.
There are certain aspects that are to be considered for the processing of the ICT
implementation and this includes presence of on premises deployment. This will be requiring
corresponding servers as well as network equipment which are already present in the premises.
Proprietary software are also considered in the processing. This ensures that the legally
acclaimed software are considered for completion of the implementation process. Usage of
MapReduce will also be important for better usage of the data assessment (Nesse 2018). This is a
software framework which have been introduced by Google for supporting distributed
computing. This will be including proper data sets as well as the clusters of the computers.
