The problem / opportunity (pain point)
There are certain problem that may enter the diving training resort. In this
aspect, and expert is well aware of the fact that diving is the key factor for
the training centre.
It takes almost half year and cost around 5000HKD for taking training
courses and exams to turn it in to professional level of open water scuba
instructor. Therefore, it is evident that qualified instructor are necessary for
managing the resource (Chiu and Choi 2016).
At the same time it has been found that there is inadequate certified PADI
instructor in Hong Kong with around 0.3% in the current year. Along with
the increasing number of divining centre may create problem for the start-
up company. However, with the themed cafe attached to the resort may
bring growing opportunities for the company with facilities.

Value Proposition
The scuba diving training centre will be providing customer friendly
services through effective PADI certified courses and will efficiently
deliver the student with diving knowledge provided with a value of
environment fondly diving (Davcik and Sharma 2016).
All this will be represented through normal classes, marketing
equipment’s and social activities.
Apart from the diving services the themed cafe aims to deliver
customers with memorable food service that are well served, exotic with
original Chinese flavour.
Apart from these, the restaurant will provide affordable experiences in
relation to the country’s price

Target Market
It is the Hong Kong and Chinese market who are increasingly
moving towards changing lifestyle who are willing to spend
money to enjoy life through outdoor sports and traveling.
Therefore, outdoor entertainment activities such as diving has
turned in to affordable choice for people. These market is
turning more important for the future growth of PADI.
In this context, the target of the resort will be young and
middle aged people aged in between 24-45 with the average
as well high income in the market (Koh 2014).
