1. Data Entry- The knowledge and skill of data entry is very must vital for the
accountants as Rina keep all the records of the transaction of the company.
She must have the skills of data entry to type fast and accurate. The
introduction of computer will require Rina to store the data obtained from all
the cash flow detail to store in the software or excel of the computer.
Proficiency in typing fast and correct is important.
2. Multitasking- One of the important skill of the accountant is to multitask.
Rina must learn this skill to maintain the balance between her works of
invoicing, payrolls, keeping the tax account updated, handle the paying
account. All these operations deal with money. Hence, she needs to be
accurate with all the calculations and transaction.
3. Accuracy- The most important skill of any person that handles the finances
of a company or business is accuracy. The works of accounts required
utmost correctness and along with that the speed to complete the assigned
task at the fastest possible time. Accuracy of the accountant develops with
time. Hence Rina has to practice well to acquire this skill and with the
introduction of the computer, the human errors increases. The dependency
on the computer takes over the accuracy of humans.
4. Excel- The basic accounting can be done in normal MS Excel. Rina can start
from learning excel, its shortcut keys, operations, formulas and several other
activities that Excel performs. Before the use of the spreadsheet application
for accounting, the accountants used to perform all the activities related to
accounting of the business through excel in the tradition computers only.
Hence, Rina can first acquire knowledge about excel and proceed with the
updated technologies.
5. Bachelor of Accounting- The basic qualification required to perform all the
accounting related work in the Bachelor of Accounting. This degree prepares
the candidate for practical and theoretical concepts of accounting. The
knowledge of accounting will enable Rina to perform the accounting practices
better with the modernized software and application in the computers. In
order to graduate with a bachelor degree in accounting, Rina has to complete
24 subjects along with that learn ethical, legal aspects of accounting.
6. Accounting software- In this fast-growing technological world the
accounting software is common in the use of several businesses. As Rina
planned to bring computers in the company, she must learn the operations of
accounting software. The application performs all type of function related to
accounting such as journal, payroll, accounts payable, trial balance, etc. All
the mathematical calculations will be faster and mostly correct as those are
done by the formulas already present on the computer.
7. Financial analytical skill- This the most important skill that Rina need to
incorporate. As the business id increasing the financial transaction will
increase gradually. Hence the amount of financial data will also increase. In
order to analyse and obtain a desirable outcome from the data, the analytical
