INTRODUCTIONIn today's marketplace or industry, success is an integral element of each and everypersonnel as it enable them to be more competitive and creative in order to be a successful intheir all aspects of life for a longer period of time. Moreover, the term success has been utilisedin every sector of market like marketing, education, business, manufacturing and so on(Cournoyer and Deschenaux, 2017). However, as per this report, it is wholly centring over theimportance of success in academic and professional areas for improving the overall performanceof an individual in an impressive and productive style. In addition to this, this study involvescreation of reflective statement based on group presentation as well as identify the areas onwhich a respective can improve better. Finally, on the basis of reflection, designing an actionplan by signifying various ways to enrich shortcomings and enhance the strength in a productiveway. MAIN BODY 1. Reflective StatementSuccess is referred to an ultimate destination which mankind attempts to achieve throughtheir continuous efforts and productive lifestyle irrespective of their status or profession whetherthey are student or anybody else. As per my point of view, in a academic ground a studentrequire to be occupied with various categories of skills or capabilities which lead them toaccomplish their goal or dream in a better manner. Moreover, in order to achieve the same, eachand every candidate works hard and adopts several kinds of techniques that help them to tackleover their weakness for attaining success in their life. However, academic success is integralcomponent because it is directly connected with the positive outcome on which a student values.Apart from this, I believe that an individual who is better prepared, organised as well as containproper plan that assist them to perform better in school and will continue to be like that in theircareer (Hart, Brannan and De Chesnay, 2014). Along with this, there are different kinds ofplatforms which enable a student to accomplish academic success are organisation, timemanagement, prioritization, concentration , motivation, team handling and many more.What have you learnt?1
However, in my case, there were enormous possibility within our academic institutionwhich help me to enrich my skill or potentiality and that is group presentation. Hence, whenthree or more individuals come together and form a team with an aim of achieving particulargoal is refer as group presentation. Hence, with the help of this activity, I acquired theknowledge of team management, motivation, positive attitude, punctuality, dedication,commitment and many more so that the audience can acquire relevant information in a bettermode. What new information has been presented? Our team was guided and directed by a leader who is very much sensitive in providingequal opportunity to all participants in terms of sharing ideas, thoughts or suggesting someaspects to improve that brings high level of motivation among team members in a coordinateway. With the help of such action, it aid me to gain knowledge by listening to varieties ofinformation from several people. Moreover, our team leader has taught about various models orconcepts of communication as well as the ways to present the information in group to which Iwas not much familiar. Moreover, in the session they covered the topic about CV writing, how toperform in interview, methods or elements utilises in designing presentation and many morewhich assist me to improve my gestures and body language in order to bring intense level ofsatisfaction over particular audience. What was interesting? In addition to this, some fascinating incidents happened during the workshop that is, wehad a team of 6 members who were assigned with different types of roles and responsibilities forobtaining best outcome and appreciation in a desired time period. However, one of the foremostdifficulty which I faced while performing within group presentation is team managementbecause each of them had their own opinion or ideas which give rise to conflict of interest and ittotally hampers the work of presentation (Helligsø, 2018). Apart from this, I came across withseveral activities which I learned is that motivation, time keeping and regularity that help me toimprove my overall performance in an efficacious manner., but at the same time our leader facedan issue with managing those ideas because each personnel wants that their views should beconsidered and followed for group presentation. Furthermore, another area which I learned fromthe procedure of group presentation program is that prioritising the task in-spite of every activitythat enable me to stay focused towards the aim or goal.
