SELF REFLECTION ON JOURNEY TOWARDS
BECOMING A PRACTITIONER

INTRODUCTION
 During the studies in Torrens University,
I have gained an understanding that
business is basically the process where
transactions are done for the
achievement of profit.

REASON FOR SELECTING THE
COURSE
 I pursued MBA, where finance was my specialization subject
 I selected this course for widening the scope and arena of my competencies
in order to get the job though post graduate qualification.
 Diversification of the thinking skills would help me to get better placement
opportunities in the field of trade, financial operations and management.

PAST EXPERIENCE
 Finance- I possess the skill of utilization of the funds, cash
management, procurement of the funds and choices of
sources of funds
 ICICI Bank- I am competent with the process of procurement of
the funds through the financial manager.
 I have also learnt about the ways in which the finance
managers invest in several resources for maximizing the
return on investment
