Executive Summary
The document is a project management plan for SettleInOz organization. SettleInOz is an
organization that is based out of Melbourne, Australia and it is not for profit firm. The
primary activity that is carried out by the organization is to provide assistance and support to
the people that come to Australia for settlement. The goals of the project are designed to
achieve the benefits and improvements to the Australian economy and employment rate. The
goal of the organization falls in line with these goals of the project.
The report covers the project details from the management aspect and includes the guidelines
for the management of different project areas.

Project Background
SettleInOz is an organization that is based out of Melbourne, Australia and it is not for profit
firm. The primary activity that is carried out by the organization is to provide assistance and
support to the people that come to Australia for settlement. The immigration assistance is
provided in the areas as housing, career, and community. There are three primary entities that
are associated with the business set-up. Rosa, partnered previously with a law firm is engaged
with the set-up along with Dr. Gianna Semolina, public health executive. The third executive
is Luca, tech entrepreneur. There are numerous skills that come along with the immigrants
that come to Australia for settlement. The utilization of these skills can be done if the correct
direction and support is provided. There is advanced analysis and research that is required to
develop the social enterprise and conduct the analysis as per the requirements.
Project Goals and Objectives
To direct the skills of the immigrants in the correct direction to enhance the
employability rate by 15%.
To gain positive impact on the Australian economy with an improvement of the
overall contribution by 8%.
To achieve the legal and ethical compliance levels of 100%.
To complete the project activities in less than 70 days.
To complete the project activities in a budget of $70,500.
Project Scope
The project scope will include the conduction of the research tasks and activities to
carry out detailed analysis for the organization. There will be an in-depth analysis of
the business case that will be done to obtain the specific project specifications. The
identification of the reliable and relevant sources of data will be done. The various
sources will involve the government units, legal entities, farming firms, public sector
enterprises, and likewise.
There will be numerous planning processes executed as part of the project scope so
that the streamlining of all the project activities is done. This will include
communication planning, risk planning, stakeholder planning, schedule & cost
estimations, and resource planning. The scope will include the collection of the data
sets using the techniques, such as interviews with the stakeholders, market surveys,

and stakeholder surveys, observation of the systems and activities, and group
discussions. The technology will be applied for the determination of the associated
patterns and trends for the implementation of the measures for social enterprise. There
will be monitoring and completion activities that will also be executed.
The management of the project scope will be done using Project Management Body
of Knowledge (PMBoK) as the approach. The guidelines defined in this methodology
will be used to ascertain that the scope management is adequately done (Dalcher,
2015).
Project Deliverables and acceptance criteria
Project Management Plan: The document will include the detailed description of
project planning phase.
Data Analysis Report: The analysis results will be included in this report.
Compliance Reports: These will include the results of legal and ethical compliance.
Public Health Report: The report will include the results and data associated with the
public health (Bannazadeh, Zomorodian and Maghareh, 2013).
Feasibility results: These will include the determination of the operational and
technical feasibility.
Completion Report: The final report will be submitted to the management and
sponsors.
The project will be accepted when the acceptance of deliverables is provided by all the
stakeholders and the completion report will be submitted.
Strategic Alignment
The strategic alignment of the project can be ensured with the organizational goals and
objectives on the basis of the project goals and objectives.
The goals of the project are designed to achieve the benefits and improvements to the
Australian economy and employment rate. The goal of the organization falls in line with
these goals of the project. Also, the legal and ethical compliance are the prime goals of the
organization and the project also aims to achieve the same. Thus, the project goals are
strategically aligned with the organization goals.

Limits and exclusions
Following are limits of the proposed site:
Marketing will remain out of scope of the project. Once the system is developed, the
project team shall not be involved in marketing of the online system. Also, the total
budget of the project done not involve any marketing budget.
The data is about the current immigrants. For new immigrants, management may need
to made adjustments in current system. When new types of immigrant’s comet to
Australia, few changes may need to be done tin the project.
Maintenance of the site is out of scope of the project. Once the system goes live, post-
launch bugs, issues and risks will not be covered in the allocated project cost.
