In recent times, technological advancement has enabled in rise in various types of digital
marketing tools and techniques which is applied by firms in promotion. With this tools it has
enabled in reaching large number of people and attracting them. Moreover, digital marketing
tools has changed way of doing promotion and advertising of products and services. For
example- use of e mail, social media, etc. e mail marketing helps in sending of large e mail to
many people. The mail may contains info about product, price, etc. usually, it is powerful tool of
promotion which enable in integrating customers and communicating with them. Here, a list of
people is prepared to whom e mail is to be sent (Zhang, Kumar and Cosguner, 2017).
Furthermore, outcomes are measured with set goals so that it can be identified whether goal are
attained or not. It also helps in making changes in strategy if required so that e mail marketing is
done in effective way. This tool is highly successful in digital marketing as it allows in sending
mail to more people. Besides that, it is efficient and time saving as well. E mail marketing
refers to sending of mails to group of people. The mail consists of info about products details,
features, etc. basically, main use of e-mail is to advertise products and services. It is used to drive
sale, generate led, etc. in order to increase brand awareness. There are various types of e mail
sent that are promotional, informational, etc.
In this report it will be described about use of e-mail marketing technique and its
benefits. Moreover, it will be explained how e-mail technique work in digital marketing.

The use of tools depends on target market and business needs. Besides that, it depends on
objective of marketing. The technique used is e-mail marketing. It refers to sending of mails to
group of people at same time. This technique is used in to promote products and services to more
customers. Generally, there are 2 types of e-mails that is promotional and informational. In
promotional e-mail purpose is to promote product or service. For example new product release,
an e book, etc. the mails are sent regularly or within particular time period of 5-7 days. This is
done only when it is required. Here, another type of e-mail is informational one. In this only info

is included in it about new product, newsletter, etc. There is also transactional e-mail which
automatically generate between sender and receiver. But they are different from promotional e
mail.
Basically, main use of e-mail marketing is it helps in saving cost and time. Also, many
people are easily attracted from it. Moreover, it is an effective way of promoting and advertising.
Benefits: There are several benefits for which companies are making use of it to the great
extent such as:
Easy to share: With E-mail, companies can share all information to large number of people in
an easy manner. There is no need to spare specific time as they only require making a list of
people to whom company want to share information (Gibson and Hanson, 2018).
Reach global audience: It is one of the best and effective ways by which companies can reach
to global customers and can grab their attention towards buying their products. By gathering
information of customers that prefer and show interest in products, company can accomplish
goals.
Reasons of using it: There are several reasons for which companies are focusing on this
marketing strategy such as:
Improves relation: It is believed that with the help of E-mail, companies can improve relation
with their existing customers. Customers find easier in getting updated and all information
related to products by getting mails.
Generate leads: E-mail marketing can help company in generating leads. One of the reason
