1. Training to the staff is given to provide a risk management strategy and to develop plans to
execute the procedures of safety smoothly. The main objective of such types of training is that
there must bethe least number of casualties at the time of some serious accident.
2. To make the workplace safer and create a healthy environment. For this there must be regular
maintainence of all the equipments, machines, setups etc. this will reduce the chance of accident
and failure of the machines too.

The safety data sheets are the documents which contain information about the physical, chemical,
biological, environmental and hazardous nature of each and every substances used in the industry.
The SDS can be stored in the electronic form or in the form of hard copies, also it should be kept in the
place where all the staff members can have an easy access towards it. It must be stored in the work
premises only and the back up of it should be maintained and given to the higher officials.
