ESSAY
The current business environment consists of many challenges which can be faced by the
organisation. In other words, there are many responsible factors which can create and impact on
the functioning of the business and the top management must regularly monitor the changing
business environment which will help them to identify such challenges in order to meet the
requirements and perform all functions effectively. Employee wellbeing is one of the major
challenge which is faced by many business entities in the current working scenario. It is observed
that employee wellbeing plays a crucial role in profitability and productivity of the business as
such responsible factor can drive motivation of employees and improve their willingness to
participate in meeting the performance standards and meeting targets. There are several
employee wellbeing programs which are organized by many organizations through which they
can promote healthy working conditions and positive working scenario for the employees in the
company. There are several challenges which are faced by the top management in implementing
such employee wellbeing programs. Some of the major issues which are faced by the company
involves lower profitability and low morale of employees and it includes cost for staff and other
members of the organisation.
As there are many benefits of employee wellbeing which can be more profitable for the
organisation and it also enhances the performance and productivity of the business. One of the
major benefit of employee wellbeing program involves improvement in employee health
behavior and their willingness in the participation of all managerial activities through which
targets can be accomplished. In relation to employee wellbeing program, it acts as drivers of
behavior change in the behavior of employees. Many employee wellbeing programs are
implemented by organisation which helps them in adopting and maintaining healthy and positive
working scenario in the company. Such programs also help in saving health care cost as it will
reduce unhealthy behavior and will reduce health risk which can rise due to chronic disease in
employees which are the result of the demotivated employee and dissatisfaction from job or can
result from high work pressure. It can be seen that organisation following wellbeing programs
have more effective employees who willingly contribute in achieving the desired targets and
maintain their performance which will help in boosting profitability of the company. Such
