INTRODUCTION
Academic writing is generally the concise and structured form of writing which is done
for fulfilling the different needs of universities and thus is published for reading to the
researchers as well as teachers. The impact of drugs on the society has been imperative and thus
has transformed their lives in a negative way. This report addresses the growing impact of drugs
on the society as well as the different types of academic writing and their importance.

done for the fulfillment of the requirements of college as well as university. In short, it is used
for the publication which are then read by the researcher. There are various types of the

This is considered as one of the simplest writing style whose purpose is to provide the
different facts as well as information. For example the article summary or the experiment results.
Analytical
This mainly includes descriptive writing and thus also involves the re-organization of the
facts as well as data that are being described in groups, parts etc. the major purpose of this
academic writing style is to provide the in-depth information of the various studies.
Persuasive
This type of academic writing has all the characteristics of the analytical academic
writing. In persuasive writing, the information as well as the data which is being provided in the
analytical studies are supported with the evidence. Here the main objective is to provide

Background information of topic
I have chosen the topic disability among youth and it has been one of the most important
buzz within the society. A huge number of young people including children are suffering form
disability which eventually poses a serious health impact on them. This is the important area for
the investigation because a large number of people mostly young people suffer a lot and has
various health impacts on them and are always under the threat due to which there has been as
increasing number of health issues, self-harm cases, etc (Falvo and Holland, 2017). I have
choose this topic because it is has become a major issue for the country and it becomes important
to understand how to tackle this issue.
Part two
Disability has been one of the major concern which has revolutionized the life of the
entire society and thus has impacted them at a great extent. According to a survey, UK has been
at the high rate in terms of mental health disabilities and it is increasing at alarming rate in
country. In particular, young people who suffer a lot form disability and this increasing cases in
the society has also resulted in a wide number of health problems like self-harm, thromboses
veins, pneumonia, hepatitis etc (Sleeter and Grant, 2017). The main consequence of mental
health disability can be depression, anxiety etc due to which the people when grow old have to
face a lot in society and normally consumeheroines and cocaine as it provides a great relaxation
to them. Due to this, the individual suffers from hallucination and thus becomes the prey of

death. Besides this, there are various socials as well as cultural pressures which goes in to reason
for taking drugs. There has been an increase in the number of death of people in UK from 51.3%
to 72.1% as reported in 2017 due to the great self harm. Apart from this, a high risk of self harm
result in harmful consequence to others and also results in the desirable effects like suicidal
attempts etc which has a huge impact on society. The main effect of this issue on society has
been imperative and thus has resulted in number of violent scenes (Vissers, Gilissen and
Veltman, 2016). Generally the youth including children becomes the prey of bullying and
torture and other things like rapes, cyber crime. The people like care takers get involved in the
illegal activities like making fun of them, torturing them at every aspect ignoring them when they
need any help and thus has have to face a lot. Besides this, it has been reported that the kids who
suffer from mental disability at young age but if they are treated may get involved in the
consumption of high doses of drugs Acetaminophen generally have retarded growth and thus
have slow growth whether its brain or the body in their adolescence. (Meyer and Mok, 2019)
Children who are given medicines faces a lot of difficulty and does not solve their complex
problem as their thinking ability reduces due to the toxins released from medicines which
eventually reduces their mental abilities further. Along with this, due to serious pressure for the
society like for the education they consumers great amount of medicines in order to overcome
the issues. They also face problems in getting proper education and thus at the end leads to loss
of their life (Shankweiler and et.al.,2017). Not only does the children and youth, but in their
adulthood they also have a serious impact on their physical health. Adults generally take drugs to
lower their anxiety level and depression and to relax themselves due to which they remain
exposed to serious health diseases like liver diseases, kidney diseases etc.
Besides this, they remain vulnerable to the lethal effects of variety of medicines due to
which their family suffers and thus this poses a negative impact ion their children. They begin to
involve in the self harm activities and thus eventually results in the loss of support to their family
and society.
As per the view of Mackelprang, Salsgiver and Salsgiver, (2016), Research has been
carried out that demonstrate the increasing impact of drugs on the overall society and thus the
various health issues. The research has been carried out to among the wide range of the people
among the society mainly the youth as they are most vulnerable segment when taking about the

increasing use of drugs. The researcher took the sample of wide range of people including
patients, universities, colleges etc to understand the general impact of drugs on the society. The
researcher has made the use of qualitative research method sin which the researcher has
conducted a survey as well as interview form wide range of people of the society to understand
the ratio of individuals taking the drugs, its amount, time of taking the drugs etc. The interviews
which were conducted were recorded through the use of digital recorder ans thus each participant
were interviewed at least two or three times.
According to Barton, (2018), The results that were drawn by the researcher from
conducting the various survey as well as interview from the people of society showed that huge
number of young people suffer from mental health disability. Among the youth, most of the
individuals were male of the university who were depressed from their studies of the other
aspects of life. Mostly the people between the age of 15 to 25 were under the great threat of
getting bullied. Besides this, the people of the age 25 were the mist prevalent ones. The most
significant aspect was that around 15% of the young people which ere under the great threat of
mental disability was form the well-established family whose parents lived a luxury life.
As illustrated Barton, (2018) main reason for the disability was the genetic disorder as
these genes they get from their ancestors. This has led to lack of significant attention from their
parents regarding their life and the society.. Not only does the people children leading luxury life
suffer from mental disability but result in increasing impact on their health but the youth people
mainly form the backward society were also found to be vulnerable to different to mental health
disability. These people that forms the part of low and backward class were generally are unable
to take proper care and get proper treatment, where the main rationale was their poor position in
the society. Their family member were under great depression as they faced a lot of problems
due to the lack of the necessary resources and the lack of access to proper education. These
people from the backward classes does not get any support from their family due to low income
of their parents and thus because of this, they have become a vulnerable people in the society.
Besides this, it has been reported that there has been the most self harm case due by mentally
disabled children as they lack understanding and unable to protect themselves.
As illustrated by Goodley, (2016) apart from these people of the society, the researcher
has also reported the high does of medications among the young children. Majority of the

children that seek the help of social care for reducing their depression and anxiety are the one
who are unemployed and thus does not have the job. Due to the lack of money, these people
generally becomes frustrate for their life and thus lose the hope to live. Because of this, they
approach drugs when they grow old in order to relaxes their mind and thus make them forget the
various problem and issues. They feel distressed for not achieving anything in life, being bullied
and thus not contributing to the welfare of their family and thus they engage in various necessary
activities. Majority of the children from the sample has been the patients who are hospitalized
due to the severe self harm.
As noted Oliver, (2017) there has been around 39% patients who are suffering from
various harms like major and minor cuts on their bodies, fractures. Around 20% patients are
suffering from congenital health diseases as well as endocarditis. The main cause of their severe
health problem is that due to the bad condition of their life. Such patients take the support of
medicines for reducing the depression a swell as anxiety when they grow old. Along with this,
they are the ones who do not have access to the amount of money which is required for leading
the life. Because of this, they suffer a lot ad are facing various health problems when they grew
old and even nobody is willing to help them and does not want to touch or come close to them,
this eventually leads to their health problems and sometimes this leads to death.
CONCLUSION
It has been summarized that there are different types of the academic writing like
analytical, persuasive and descriptive where the main objective is to increase the knowledge of
students or reader and thus make them aware of the particular topic. Besides this, the increasing
use of drugs among the people of society has been an important topic prevailing in the country
which has affected the lives of large number of people from causing various health problems to
loss of their life.
