INTRODUCTION
Small business enterprises are those company where there are small number of workers
and not have high volume of sales. This type of enterprises are privately owned and operated at
small scale. In the present report chosen organization is Tate consultancy. It is a recruitment
agency perform it business function at small scale. It main function is to recruit highly qualified
candidate to the selected organization. In this report identify the strength and weakness of Tate
consultancy (Tate 2015,). Analyses ways through which existing performances of company can
be maintain. Along with that, Recommendation with justifying, new areas in which business can
be expand. Further revise the business plan to implement the changes. Apart from that, discuss
the impact of proposed changes on the Tate consultancy and its personnel. In addition to this,
plan how the changes will be managed in the business.
TASK 1
1.1
Tate is small recruitment consultancy in UK founded in 1985. Visions of this company is
to be best everywhere and all the time. It have branches across the UK, and list of clients that
include multinationals and local firms. They can handle the any recruitment request and do it
with passion (Ackermann, 2012). It provide training facility to the candidates which is beneficial
for them. It organize training session in every four months, so that they learn the way of
achieving goals. It provide high caliber candidates for the organization support and for different
position on permanent and temporary basis.
Tate has reward and recruitment scheme which any employee can win weather they are
permanent worker or temporary. It spends 161,000 dollar for developing the staff. Tate company
recruitment process is friendly process that helps them in finding a new job a little less
discouraging. Some methods of its recruitment process such as regularly updates and prepare
them for interview.

 Employee performance: Tate can measure the company performances by monitoring the
employee performances (Chaiprasurt and Esichaikul, 2013). Employee perform
effectively and efficiently to achieve the goal of an organization. Employee are important
part of company, it is necessary for company that they perform in systematic manner to
achieve the target in given time period.

 Finance: Through finance Tate can easily measure the performance of business if
company. When sales of firm is increasing then company financial status will be
improved, it shows the profit of company (Cummings and Worley, 2014). Tate is
financially stable so it earn a high profit and company is performing best.
 Customers demand: Demand of customers increase it represent that company is serving
high quality services to customers (Durkin, McGowan and McKeown, 2013.). It helps
easily in analyzing the business performance. Demand of customers increase the
productivity of company and it lead to increase in the profitability of Tate.
 Marketing effectiveness: By knowing the condition of our services and products in
market we can easily measured the performances of company. The data that is collected
by company show sales are increased or decrease of company (Jehanzeb, Rasheed and
Rasheed, 2013). Tate market share is high and increasing so it means company is
performing well and gaining competitive advantage.
As compare to other company Tates financial status is high and it capture high percent of
market shares. Moreover, its company performances is is stronger then compare to other
recruitment organzation.

2.1
Tate should have proper knowledge of the about the weakness of the company, because
weakness makes the whole business process to suffer from loss (Ford, 2014). Recommendation
to overcome the weakness in the business are as follow:-
 Tate should provide training and development facility to employee, so that they perform
effectively in the organization. Further through training facility employee overcome fro
their weakness (Hubackova and Ruzickova, 2013). They also get motivated toward their
work and can accomplish their task on given period of time. Moreover Tate can also
provide training facility to candidates who are unskilled so that they can easily recruit to
different organization at various position.
 Another recommendation is that Tate company need to provide maximum amount of
resources to their employees. It assist employee in accomplishing the objective of
company (Grant, 2016). There should be Enough employee in company, so that in

absences of any workers daily work not get affected. Resources should ff high quality
and equally distributed to employee.
 Tate need to motivates the employee regularly by providing reward and incentives. It
state that by motivating the employees, performance of company improved (Hubackova
and Ruzickova, 2013). It also help in increasing the overall production because motivate
employees perform their work more effectively.
 Used of new technology helps in increasing the productivity of company. By creating
websites of Tate company many of customers come to know about their products and
services (Jehanzeb,Rasheed and Rasheed, 2013). By using new technology company can
easily collect data and information of new and existing candidates and keep it securely
for future needs.

There are different ways through which Tate existing performance and strength can be
maintained. Some the methods area as follow:-
 Market survey:- Tate can analyze market research to know the demand of their service
in market. Manager of Tate required to take feedback from customer and make changes if
required for Maintaining the performances and strength of company (Kolb, 2014). Tastes
and preference of customer regularly changes regarding the product and services and
customer can switch to other organization product and services. For example, if another
firm is delivering the same service at cheap price then it effects the Tate consultancy. S to
keep it maintain Tate need to provide services according customer demand at reasonable
price.
 Quality product and services: to serve the quality product and service tot the customer
is the main key of successful organization. Currently Tate is providing quality
performance to their new and insisting clients (Laufs and Schwens, 2014). Hence it
become necessary for Tate to maintain this level and try to raise it in near future for
surviving in the competitive market. It is done to always win the satisfaction of customer.
 Use of motivational tool: It is important for company to continuously motivate the
employee so that their performances not move down. When employee get motivate on
regular period of time then they get more responsible toward their work. Motivational

tool are such as monetary and non monetary incentive, rewards, awards etc (McKenzie,
and Woodruff, 2013). this all tools helps in keeping the employee satisfied and
motivated. Manager should also appreciate employee on their performance it encourage
them to work more hard for their organization. Motivational tool are very much effective
it this it include the security of job of employee when employee feel secure their give
their more effort to employee.

Tate is a recruitment company which provides the quality services to their clients. It
recruit many candidates at various position in different organization (Peper, Lin and Harvey,
2015). There are some new areas in which company can easily expand its business to survive in
competitive market. This are discussed below:-
Workshops and seminar- It is most appropriate methods that help employees and
candidates to enhance their existing kills, knowledge and abilities (Pesonen and Horn, 2014.).
Through conference ans seminar it provide opportunities to meet different people and share their
view points, so that recruiter get information about their consultancy.
Open agency in new area: Tate can open its agency at new areas so that candidates can

sites. Many big company have their profile on Linkedin so Tate should make profile on it to join
maximum group.

with clients and candidates (Tumasev, Arkatov and Pestryakov, 2013). It is the palace where
many companies pay dollar for exhibiting their services and products.

There are various alternatives for assessing the existing business objectives and plans for
achieving goals and targets so these are described as below:
 Talent identification- The main objective of Tate Company is to recruit the qualified
and skilled manpower in the organization because they perform in an appropriate manner
and give better result to the organization (Ackermann, 2012). In addition to this, business
focuses on talented people who are giving best result and services to the firm as this helps
in managing their work environment and day to day business activities in the
organization. Further, by recruiting the efficient talented employees firm can attain
business goals and objectives effectively.
 Training and development- Under this, different ways of training and development can
be applied by the recruitment agency. The methods can be classified into two one is on-
the - job and off- job- methods (Wynarczyk, Piperopoulos and McAdam, 2013). In this
context, Company can use these methods for enhancing performance of the employees
which assist in improving his knowledge and management skills. Henceforth, training
and development give the change to qualified employees for different position in the
firm.
 Advertising- There are two types of advertising method such as traditional and modern
method. In this context, Tate Company can adopt the modern method in this the firm can
use digital tool while advertising the vacant post. . With the help of social media, an
organization can convey message and share the post on the Facebook, twitter etc about
its products and services to the customers (Durkin, McGowan and McKeown, 2013). In
addition to this, advertising helps in attracting the customers towards the vacant post and
its services. It affects performance of the business, improve the relation with the customer
and maintain work environment. . Further, it positively impact on organization’s
objectives and aims.

Tate Company can revise and evaluate business plan which can help in masking
appropriate changes that are required. In this context, consumer can change the perception about

company is required to change the business plan for attaining the organization goals and
objectives. In this way, the firm can select the on- the job method like coaching, mentoring, job
rotation etc for training and development because it is reliable for the company as well as
employees. Further, the firm can provide training and development to their employees that help
in enhancing its performance as well as knowledge. In this context, if employee possesses one
skill then the company can render training which is required by the manpower as it will help to

an organization can provide training so that firm can be charged the fees for tranning.

applicant about field which helps in getting idea about the potential candidate and knowledge.

impact on business and its personnel. Positive impact on Tate are as follow:
company get skilled employee which helps in achieving the goal and objective. They not need to
provide training and development facility to the employees. It reduce the wastage of time and
money. Campus strategy helps the agency for getting the highly qualified candidates. Through
campus strategy candidates come to know about different organization where Tate recruit them.

services. They offer all their services at reasonable price and serve quality products which

Manager of Tate need to keep regular communication with employees. Through
communication it can inform the employee about the changes made in organization. On the other
hand, negative impact of proposed changes are that when employee are provided training and
development facility it consume time and there is also a wastage of money. For using the
advance technology company need to hire skilled employee because it is not necessary that
present employee have knowledge of new technology (Zortea-Johnston, Darroch and Matear,
2012). Some times it consumed cost and time for hiring a new employees. When company hired
skilled candidates they need to pay high salary. All Theses are the impact of proposed changes
on Tate and its personnel.

Changes can be managed in business in most effective manner. Company can arrange

 Creating a guiding coalition: in this step employees are convince that change is

the change it is need to lead it. Employees are encourages to cooperate with the managers

 Remove Obstacles: At the time of accepting the changes obstacles that can be arrived
should be removed properly (Jehanzeb, Rasheed and Rasheed, 2013.). It makes clear that

done when their ideas are implemented in the change process.

business in areas to gain the competitive advantage and capture market share. Action plan is
