Smart Application for Managing Trucks: A Case Study of AB Pty Ltd.

This report proposes a smart application to help AB Pty Ltd. manage their trucks and overcome challenges in delivering products to customers. The report discusses the case study, solutions, challenges, and ways to overcome them. The smart application will help in monitoring the trucks and their activities, and the data collected will be transmitted to the monitors. The report also suggests five new data elements that will help the organization overcome the problem.

Introduction
The purpose of the report is to propose a smart application that will help the organization AB
Pty Ltd. to overcome the problem. AB Pty Ltd. is an organization that aims at delivering products to
their customers (Rahmanovic and Saracevic 2017). But with the increase in demand the organization
is facing several challenges. The report will discuss these case study in detailed.
Background of the case study
AB Pty Ltd. is a company that aims at delivering the product to their customers. For
delivering the products, they are having three trucks. But recently it is being observed that the
organization is facing challenges to meet with the requirements in market (Kolga et al. 2015). The
increase in demand has lead the organization to delaying in delivering, orders are remaining pending
and the customer satisfaction is getting reduced.
Solutions to solve the problem
This becomes very much necessary to solve the problem that are faced by the organization
(Rahmanovic and Saracevic 2017). In order to solve the problem following measures can be
implemented:
1. Development of smart application
2. The work is needed to be divided into frames
3. Work should be divided based on the priority
4. Speed limit bar needs to be set
Smart application
The smart application is being developed so that the monitoring of this trucks can be
controlled. The application will help the vehicle to connect with the systems (Wise 2017). With
these a visual dashboard is being implemented that will describe the speed with the NODE-RED.
Telemetry will help in collecting the data.

According to me telemetry will help in collecting the data related to the vehicles. This will
help min collecting the data with the use of remote and the data can be transmitted to the monitors.
This will help in effectively collecting the data.
Data elements needed to overcome the problem
There are five new data elements that will help the organization to overcome the problem.
This are:
1. The number of trucks can be increased
2. Delivery needs to done based on the priority
3. Direct chatting option should be provided to the customer.
Challenge faced in developing the system
The challenges that are faced while developing this application are as follows:
1. The data collection method is difficult and needs time and effort.
2. Everyone needs to organize the tasks within the organization, so that they can perform
smoothly.
3. It becomes difficult to teach the employees who are technically challenged
Ways to overcome challenges
In order to avoid or get over this challenges, the organization needs to understand and analyze
the problems. The data collection method needs to divided, so that the problems can be easily
overcome. In the smart application process, feedback part will help in developing the service provided
by this company.
Conclusion
From the following repot it can be concluded that for the organization AB Pty Ltd. smart
application will be helpful. The smart application developed will help in managing the trucks and will
