Introduction:
The aim of the report is to develop and demonstrate the evaluation of the difference
that is necessary to understand between the factors of the Norm and the Values for the social
networking website platforms and applications. The social norm is an essentially required
standard. The norms are responsible for enforcing the conventionality in the behavior and
characteristics that are valuable and viable for all the groups and generally the social group.
The norms are not generally focused and responsible for representing the functional based
principles or the equality (Ngai, Tao and Moon 2015). The values can be defined as the
convenience, brevity, ease of communication and geocentricism. The theory of the labeling is
defined with the social construction based on the reality which is considered to be based to
the symbolic interactionist perspective. The labeling theory is one of the vital most
approaches to understand the criminal behavior. Therefore labeling is done on the criminal
act by the jurisdiction bodies to mark it as a criminal act.
Social media offers access to data which in the past has been restricted and, more
importantly, an eye to others. This calls into question the validity of people’s own standards,
both positive and negative. The capacity to communicate discussion and communicate freely
internet led to action being encouraged and the democratic process to be challenged. This
impact leads to the development of fresh social standards in order to ensure that isolation is
accepted or avoided.

Norms:
In the terms that are defined in the sociological studies the norms are the activities
that are referred to as then practices and the state of belief that stores the common sense

according to the human. There are always certain norms and values that are required and are
effective for any kind of society to function. The citizens are responsible for observing the
common values (Stroud et al. 2014). These Norms are the generally accepted as and is
defined as the guidelines that are based on the behaviors that follow to the rules of the society
on certain grounds. The report describes the functionality of the norms or the social norms
that are based on the social media. The values are considered to be as the specific thinking
which are regarded by the societies as valuable information or regulation that is needed by
them to follow. The deviance can is termed by the sociologists as the departure from the
primitive methods of the norms to the newest type of the norms and the values. The deviance
was previously defined as the activities or the behaviors that trend to devotee away from the
norms or the values on any kind of specific grounds of activity or environment.
Values:
The social media platforms are responsible for embedding certain characteristics or
the values. These values can be defined as the convenience, brevity, ease of communication
and geocentricism. The communication can be evaluated as difficult with the others as it is
considered as time consuming and requires much more effort (Marino et al. 2016). The social
media is the platforms that have been chosen by the people so as to communicate easily and
effectively. The benefits of the social median are always enjoyable being able to avoid the
disadvantages and the dark side of the technology. The use of the values protects from the
violation of the social norms that have been regulate so as to maintain the perfect balance
between the technology and the social life out of the technology.
Labeling:
The theory of Labeling defines that people are able to know and identify and also
show their perspectives in the ways that shows how others have labeled the person. The term
