INTRODUCTION
Social policy is referred to as an effective policy within the political and government
setting which is significant in studying the social services. Social policy in turn mainly comprise
of principles, legislations, guidelines and key activities which eventually affect the key living
conditions which in turn are conducive for the human welfare and helps in improving the quality
of life by solving various social problems. Social policy is considered to be highly significant in
addressing how the state addresses the key global challenges. The social policy within the 21st
century is referred to as the key significant state which comprises of the national and local
governments. This study will focus on critically examining the early year setting which in turn
tends to mainly comply with the social policy. This study also tends to effectively evaluate how
the social policy is influenced by the voluntary, private and statutory provision. This study also
tends to effectively evaluate the various social policies and which is highly significant in
improving the health and also results in better outcomes for the children. This study also
provides a timeline of events from Beveridge onwards up to present day. This is significant in
analysing the issues which results in policy support. The focus of the study is on the Tesco
company.
MAIN BODY
Social policy is referred to as an effective policy within the political and government setting
which is significant in studying the social services. There are various safeguarding and welfare
guidance within the earlier setting is considered to be highly problem which helps in working of
the individuals in a legal and responsible manner. The various set of Safeguarding policies which
includes child protection policy, staff protection policy, missing child policy, anti-bullying
policy, physical intervention policy, prevent duty policy, confidentiality policy, mobile phone
policy, whistle blowing policy, E safety policy, safer recruitment policy, record keeping
procedures, staff conduct guidance, allegations against staff procedures, attendance policy, etc.
The Beveridge report tends to significantly offer rights and protection to the citizens. The
beverage report tends to focus on providing comprehensive system associated with social
insurance from cradle to the grave (Kantor, 2019). However, it tends to focus on proposing that
all the individual people who have been working should be paid weekly contribution towards the
state. On the contrary, benefits will be paid to the employees, unemployed, widowed, sick and
retired people. Safeguarding and also promoting the welfare of the children in association with
