Introduction
• Sociological perspectives help the individuals of the society to be
distinct from each other.
• One of the main sociological observations which can be noticed to
be exisitng within the human civilization is that of religion.
• The purpose of this presentation is to understand this aspect of
religion and the other sociological perspectives which are related
to it such as that of culture and socialization.

Sociological perspectives related to religion
• Religion is seen to give people a common sense of purpose
and a way of life to which one can adhere to (Furseth &
Repstad, 2017).
• The different religious faith have their own doctrines which
consist of various preachings, urging people to adhere to
them.
• The main purpose of religious doctrines is to give people a
way of life which would make them good human beings.
