There are several political ideologies but the environmental political ideologies are the major which is compatible with ecological thinking. Political ideology is the set of values and beliefs in the group of a person which is consists of certain key elements and helps in protecting the human rights of the citizens(Tranter, 2013).The mainstream political ideologies in the UK are related to socialism, Liberalism, and Conservatism. Political ideology in sociology can be defined as the principles, ethical ideals, myths, doctrine which offer the cultural and political blueprints and explains the society how to work in a certain social order. In the UK the main ideologies are Conservatism, Liberalism and Socialism which helps in examining the social policy implications and the core values(McCright, et al., 2013). The political parties in the UK such as Conservative and Unionist Party, Labor Party, Liberal Democrats, and Scottish National Party, etc. all these parties aspire to change the world by forming the political ideology. The UK population is not influenced by certain ideologies such as environmentalism, republicanism, feminism, religious fundamentalism, animal rights and anti- globalization(Griggs and Howarth, 2016).So to influence the population of the UK the political parties use ideologies like liberalism, populism, conservatism, etc. All the effective and influencing ideologies of the UK are not effective for ecological thinking so the ideology of environmentalism is used as it is effective in influencing the people to make the better use of the resources and make the ecology more sustainable. The political parties can influence the people with the help of this ideology to make a reduction of the non-renewable resources and to use renewable resources in an effective manner(Leach, 2015).Many things can be recycled so the political parties should use this ideology to promote things and to change the world in an effective environment. Environmental ideology is the most compatible political ideology with ecological thinking. Environmentalism is required to be considered for preservation, restoration and improving the natural environment(Facchini and Melki, 2014).Environmentalism is a concept which includes the ideologies for environmental protection and improving environmental health. It requires measuring the health for incorporating the changes in humans, animals and non-living matter in

Environmental ideology is compatible with ecological thinking; it helps in advocating the preservations, restoration and improving the environment. It requires observing the movement for controlling pollution and protecting the plant and animal diversity. Environmentalism includes the concept of attempting the balancing relationship between humans and several natural systems which depends on the degree of sustainability. This balance of system and humans includes the various ways of environmental concern for expressing the practices. The environmental ideology is represented by the green color which includes the marketing of industries which includes the tactic. Anti-environmentalism is included in environmental ideology for maintaining and portraying environmentalism for reacting to the climate changes and the contribution of humans as well as advancements by a human. A social movement is included in the environmental ideology which influences the political process for activism and providing education for protecting the resources and ecosystems. These environmentalists and organizations are included in giving a strong voice in the environment. The various movements are included in the environmental ideology for diversifies scientific, social and political movements. The broad areas of institutions are included in environmentalism which is the consumption of ecosystems, waste from natural resources, pollutions, toxins, anti-polythene drives, and various focus. This different environmental movement focuses on the environmental sciences, activism, justice, and advocacy(Corbett, 2016). Environmentalism is considered as essential for protecting and conserving the ecosystems which are water, air, animals as well as plants. It includes that living things other than human includes the natural environment which is required to be considered in the political, economic as well as social policies. The environmental ideology focuses on the welfare of the environment by correcting the damages made by the people and also prevents the destruction of the future (Homer-Dixon, et al., 2013).It is also the social movement that focuses on the three components such as multiple geopolitical levels, public policymaking and implementation which affects the environment. Political ecology is compatible with ecological thinking and it is based on the political, social and economic systems. There is a non-human world which is the environment, species, plants, etc. are worthy of political consideration(McCright, et al., 2016).Green political is also a political ideology which is also compatible with ecological thinking and helps in fostering the ecologically sustainable society. In the political spectrum of the UK, the platforms of the green party are considered left. In the UK the climate is changing frequently and it is the UK political ideology to protect the environment.
