Introduction
The title of this paper is Research on Mobile Cloud Computing: Review, Trend and
Perspectives which was written by Han Qi and Abdullah Gani. This paper is completely
based on cloud computing and software engineering methodology [1]. This journal paper
identifies the importance of MCC and their features. The major objective of this study is to
review the trends and perspectives of mobile cloud computing and analyse the working
principle of MCC. MCC is defined as mobile cloud computing which is one of the advanced
communication technique which combines mobile devices with cloud computing. Mainly this
report is divided into several sections for example intention and content of the paper, research
methods, and findings, problems highlighted by the authors, results and discussion.
Intention and content of the article
This research paper focuses on the fundamental idea of mobile cloud computing and reviews
the meaning of this technology in information technology. According to the researchers,
cloud computing is defined as the service which is provided by an internet based cluster
system and use of this technology is growing rapidly [1]. The smartphone is one of the
advanced communication technology which is now linked with cloud computing and many
companies are using this approach for growing their businesses. The researchers argued that
there are numerous applications of this technology for example Maps, Gmail, voice search
and so on. From this paper, it is observed that cloud based mobile applications are anticipated
to increase by 88% per year between 2009 and 2014. For better understanding, the working
principle of MCC the researchers divided this paper into major two technologies, for
example, mobile computing and cloud technology.
It is analysed that the term mobile computing is a very popular technology which is used by
many consumers and organizations for exchanging information from one location to another
[2]. The authors suggested that the term mobile computing is defined as human computer
communication which is based on major three factors such as hardware, software and
communication. After analysing this research paper it is analysed that cloud computing has
potential to store data or information on the cloud servers and utilizes of hoard memory in the
consumers to make the information. To analyse the concept of cloud computing, the
researchers also developed a framework that included various kinds of software services such
as IaaS, PaaS and SaaS [3].
