Company Name
i. For the business name registration go to the business name registration link (ASIC, 2017)
and check for availability of the business name
ii. Connect to ASIC and log in to your account
iii. You need the Australian Business Register (ABN)
iv. If you do not have an account, it means it is your first time to log in so you need an ASIC
key. From the top page, select the Licenses and Registration and connect to the page
v. Enter the proposed business name read the information and “Get started”.
vi. Enter ABN and click “ Next “then click on the eligibility
vii. Review your application for correct details and complete the declaration
viii. Make payment
Make sure that you pay for the registration in 10 days to avoid cancellation.
