In this report it has been described about gender pay gap in Australia in private and public
sector. Also, it has been discussed on mean hourly wage of public and private sector staff.
Moreover, statistical analysis is done on wage of both sectors of staff. Besides that, difference in
social and demographic characteristics of both sector employees has been discussed.

INTRODUCTION
It is necessary to reduce pay gap in gender as well as in private and public sector. So, for
that government need to frame policy or law to ensure that there is no gender gap which exist.
Moreover, employees working in public and private sector must equal hourly pay (Dangeti,
2017). In this report it will be analysed and examined about data of pay of private and public
staff of Australia. Also, statistical calculations will be done as well in this.
