Introduction
The presentation provides an insight into King Faisal
Specialist Hospital and Research Centre (KFSH &
RC). It is a tertiary referral center located in Riyadh
(kfshrc.edu.sa 2020). It is also a government aided
hospital that fall in the category of healthcare
centers controlled by Ministry of Health (MOH).

Core Business:
KFSH & RC represents a national care center for
patient referrals in cases of oncology,
cardiovascular disease, neurological science,
genetic disease and the transplantation of the
organs (kfshrc.edu.sa 2020). The hospital not only
provided primary as well as specialized inpatient
and the outpatient medical care but also
participated in the research and clinical studies

KFSH & RC has been able to recognize the fluctuating healthcare
market within country and to ensure its competitive advantage
established the Business Centre (kfshrc.edu.sa 2020).
In addition to this, the key competitive advantage of the hospital
