Strategic operating environment refers to environment in which strategies of firm are
applied in between competitors, markets, customers, regulatory agencies & between internal
environment. Whereas strategic management process is defined as process of through which
enterprise use effective strategy which gives them better performance (Barbosa, 2020).

It is a type of model in which it depicts the 7 s than are to be applied within a business to
achieve effectiveness. It includes seven types of elements which are discussed below-

Apple has broad market & it mostly focuses on differentiation strategy with providing
advanced features & capabilities of product. This business strategy makes them different from their
competitors.
Structure-
The structure of enterprise depicts workflow of 7 decision making of management. So,
company has focuses on providing autonomy for decision making for subordinates at all stages.
System
It refers to process on the basis of activities are carried out. For example system such as
recruitment, employee selection, etc. Apple generates revenue by gaining competitive advantage
based on effective new product development system.
