INTRODUCTION
Strategic marketing is the process by which an organisation differentiates itself from the
other competitive companies. It helps the organisation focus on their strengths in order to
provide better product quality and better services. It creates a value to the customers. Strategic
marketing is a type of marketing strategy used by some large organisations. It is the underpin of
every marketing activity by an organisation (Thabit and Raewf, 2018). This type of marketing
stays for long term and forms the base on which all the decisions are taken. Tesla is an American
electric car vehicle. The business of this company is based on clean energy. The products of
Tesla include electric cars, battery, energy storage, grid scale, solar panels and solar roof tiles.
The current CEO of the company Elon Musk is doing well for the company. This report deals
with the marketing strategies of Tesla while expanding their business in India.
MARKETING MIX OF TESLA
Tesla is a very famous brand which was formerly known as Tesla motors. Tesla is a US
based automobile manufacturer company which is mainly known for its new inventions and
innovation activities. The brand has created a sustainable image which its electric vehicles and
solar energy products. The fan base of Tesla is huge. Elon musk has decided to expand the
business into the markets of India. The marketing strategy of the company is unique when
compared to any other companies. The marketing mix strategy of Tesla is:
Product: When any company starts their business they offer something to their customer,
this is what is called a product. Tesla is known for making sustainable products and excels in
making electric cars. The product line of the company is always focused on electric vehicle.
Tesla offers some mid blowing electric vehicle car models which will change the mindset of
people regarding the working and use of cars. Tesla has launched three models up till now. Each
model is made from a powerful engine which can go from 0 to 60 mph in just 3 seconds. All the
models are made and work with their own distinct eco friendly feature (Jobaid, and Naher). The
organisation is looking forward to create a change with the help of their solar technology in the
main energy systems. The company has also launched some limited edition lifestyle products
along with the electric vehicles. This brand has never disappointed their audience with their
unique range of product strategies. Tesla is launching Model 3 in Indian markets which includes
the feature of auto pilot which is found to be very safe from the existing models. It allows the
