INTRODUCTION
Strategic management in a management of a company can be defined as continuous
process of planning, observing, analysing and evaluating all the basic requirements of a
organisation in order to meets its mission and goals. Strategic management includes a set of
actions and decisions a manager undertakes in order to formulate a strong business strategies so
as to improve overall performance and profitability of an organisation. Managers adopts a
proactive approach to identify, plan and predict for future contingency, conducts a detail analysis
of external macro factors and internal environment of business that affect the business in long
run, and as a result of which prepares a strong plan to gain a competitive edge over others. Dega
Broadcast system is a fully independent and self-financing company, founded in 1988, providing
services in technical installation services in television and radio industry. The reports covers a
history of Dega broadcast services along with its business and corporate objectives.

What is corporate strategy ?
A strategy can be defined as the way company achieve its objectives, it is a centrally and
integrated concept designed with a view to improve performance of a business (Regent and et.
al., 2019). Strategy formulation is concerned with deciding what to do and implementation
covers all the aspects that need to be covered in a process to achieve what has been planned for.
Hence forth, Corporate strategy is most significant and broad ranging strategy level within an
organisational context. Corporate strategy consists of clearly defined long term vision of the
direction of a company, set strategic goals which are created to create a corporate value and to
guide and motivate the workforce to implement the desired actions to boost the performance of a
company along with increased satisfaction level of customers. An effective formulation of
strategy requires a deep and detailed analysis of various analytical techniques which are helpful
in identifying the company's strength, weakness, opportunities and threats which could hinder
the growth of a business firm (Okumus, and et. al., 2019).
